Motion graphics truly peaked with Video Copilot. He single handedly created a literal generation of motion designers. Can't describe how much respect I have for Andrew...
Hey Andrew, I've been following your tutorials for 15 years now, and even I feel a bit older in the Motion Graphics industry. Everybody is getting older, but not everyone becomes successful. You were truly my mentor. When I saw this interview, I initially thought it was an old one - you haven't changed. Thanks a ton for all your effort!
Andrew you are Truly a Gift to all of Us. Thank you for sharing and mentoring all of Us. It's so Good to see you Again. Please Breath Life back into Element 3D, I'm still using it. Would Love to see a new version of it. Thank You Again for Blessing All of Us.
Happy to know that you're still using it and I am too and don't you agree that E3D is probably one of the best 3D plug-ins to a non 3D software? There are so many territories that I haven't dig into and you can do so much with it you're creative enough.
Much love for AK and VCP, always. That “We’ve got an announcement coming soon” is definitely the VFX/motion graphics rickroll for the past 7 years or so 😅
So awesome just to hear this dude's voice again! His intro to tutorials are more nostalgic to me than Saturday morning cartoons used to be. Andrew Kramer has taught us SO much and has offered so much to the motion design world. This is a true legend!
Thank you so much for all you did, Andrew. I hope for 2 things: that there will be at least one new tutorial per year and that Nebula will be released 🙂
"without downloading all of their megabytes." All I could think of is Hank Hill yelling, "DO I LOOK LIKE I KNOW WHAT A JPEG IS? I JUST WANT A PICTURE OF A GAWT DANG HOT DOG." Thank you Andrew. A lot of people in our industry owe you free drinks/food for life. 15 years after I watched one of your tutorials, I've made a career out of what you've inspired in me. Cheers.
Anytime I hear something new about Andrew Kramer I'm like a 5 year old with excitement lol. Meeting you at Adobe Max a few years ago was one of the highlights for sure and you're such an inspiration. Keep doing what you're doing and we'll always be waiting for more from you Andrew!
He is 100% my teacher! When I was studying on my MCs on filming, motion graphics etc on 2008 I came acroos Andrews tutorials. He made me fall in love with visual effects and motion graphics and dive more into this area. Now, professionally working on the field inspired 100% by Andrew. I love this guy!
without Andrew I never have accomplished my dreams, I started watching him in highschool , and now Im reaching my dreams, as a VFX artist in my country, Directed my own films and still applying all the things Ive learned from Videocopilot, I dedicate all my work to Andrew.
I loved Andrews stuff. I bought every single product he released. My fav was elements. I wish he carried on with the tutorials. I remember doing the duplication tutorial whilst I was in afghanistan. love this guy
Interesting camera angle, kinda. He doesnt mention why there has been zero updates at his website in over two years, and even then they were only mac related software updates.
with all due respect from my heart thank you for all your tools and tutorials andrew. I followed your tutorials since 2006, they helped me a lot to finish my projects. You helped me a lot. Thank you buddy. You're the best
It appears you stopped making tutorials… Which is really a crime… Because you are the best of the best. So many tutorials out there that absolutely suck… You were a breath of fresh air. Please start making them again.
one of my mentors with a super fun sense of humor who made me laugh so much at every tutorial! You are great Andrew, we missed you buddy! Thanks from taking me loving my job!
1:43 im confused.. he talks as if he is still doing it. I havent seen any content from him for 5-7 years if you dont count the "hey im coming back soon" posts every few years and the cameos at big events followed by him vanishing in the void again. Am i missing something?
I was thinking the same thing then at the very end, he DOES mention that they've been working on some stuff that should come out soon, including E3D. Hopefully that comes to fruition.
@@kirkeric true and i have some (i guess exclusive) information. They are working on an actual update to Element3D. Lets hope its a big one that lets him come back.
This guy was my Yoda. Glad to see him again. VideoCpilot this year???? Pls come back dude, we freacking need you. Thanks Motion Plus Design for this interview.
