I would love to see Rick reunite with this entire family including Judith and RJ.

Rick was why the show was amazing, he was basically 50% of any reason to watch it. A come back would bring me back for sure.

Seeing Andy and Danai made me tear up man. I love this couple on TWD.

I am glad this amazing duo will have a proper ending. Both amazing actors and human beings.

I hate seeing the lead actor leave a show, but the rare times they actually come back are heartwarming.

If Rick and Michonne don't reunite with the group.... That's kind of an issue right? They said "conclude" the story. Wouldn't we all rather see the story conclude together as a group? Rather than appart in their own shows. I still wish they had just added a season, or atleast concluded it all within the main show

Danai is a beauty. Even more so when she wears the badass dreadlocks as Michonne. My interest in the walking dead is starting to return because of her return. And Rick of course. He's the main man always was.

I really miss the OG cast. Happy to see them together again 😭 I want them all together one last time. Make it happen!

A TWD episode is basically 45 minutes to one hour of a show. A movie is normally 1.5 to 2 hours long. So six episodes is the perfect length, as expected, it is basically a TV movie trilogy. In a way, AMC is still keeping its word. More importantly, so is Andrew Lincoln ... and now Danai Gurira.

It was looking dry but i knew amc had our back. they couldn't just end the show with all those left open doors. i've missed them and i am so happy that they blessed us to see these two on screen again. thank you, amc and also comic con of course for this beautiful reveal. ❤️

What a relief!! I lost all hope in the movies ever happening and to never see Rick Grimes story have a proper ending would have been hard to accept.

That's more like it. I'm glad they said we deserved the conclusion of the story, because if it weren't for the walking dead and it's fans, they might not have become the stars they are now.

He understands that covid really screwed the show and the fans, and that they had to work with what they had (and suddenly didnt have), and that the fans have been starving for Rick. He knows. Telling us that our patience will be worth it actually gives me a lot of faith in what those episodes are going to be like. Idk why but the way he said it made me trust it

After a long time one of my two favorites characters are returning finally...

Saw them both on the Andy/Danai panel back in 2017 in Atlanta GA. I Got to meet both of them, I have the pic of me and Andy still hanging up. I Met the cast. But Andy.. 🤗 what a sweet heart ❤ He's an Amazing man. I cannot wait for this. 🙌 Such great news within crazy times.

Thank you so much for posting this. I was dying to attend the TWD panel but im in Florida. The TWD segment was fantastic and obviously this was the best. The news we were all hoping for! A multi-season series is SO much better than a Rick movie trilogy. My only gripe is, I kinda wish they didn't do the other spinoffs. THIS is the sequel we all wanted (check out the tweet engagement from 4 months of Isle of the Dead vs 4 hours of Rick & Michonne lol). It would be nice to have some of our main characters back in the Rick & Michonne story. So Daryl, Negan, Maggie will never cross paths with Richonne again? I hope they scrap the Daryl show, just make him a lead in this. Unless we get some cross over episodes (which seems possible), I don't get why we have all of these characters separating into their own shows. The TWD fans want the gang back together. Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled. This is the news I was hoping for. But if we don't get a Daryl, Maggie, Negan reunion with Rick & Michonne, I will be disappointed. Also, many assumed the Negan/Maggie show & the Daryl show were going to be (at least originally) centered around finding/saving Rick. Obviously, that is going to take place in this show. I can't wait to find out why the hell Negan and Maggie are heading to NY? And Daryl in Europe? Honestly? I hate to say this cuz I love Norman Reedus but I kinda think the Daryl show is not really happening, That he will take the death of Rick from the comics. Robert Kirkman fooled fans by saying the comics would continue and abruptly ended them with Rick's death at the hands of Sebastian. This would be a pretty fitting homage. I would hate to see Daryl out of TWD, I just think this is what is going to happen, unfortunately. Especially after seeing Negan kick the shit out of Sebastian in the trailer.

I stood literally feet away from Andrew Lincoln, in a car park in his home town, and as I walking to him, my 2 year old son started crying for food. I stopped to feed the boy and when I turned Andrew had gone. Second saddest story of my life

Personally, I would really like to see Rick appear in the last episode(s) of the original series. Regardless of any planned mini series! Like others have stated what remains of the original cast members have to be reunited, to provide some sort of satisfying closure; regardless of all the other planned spinoffs, that for most, I don't really care for!

I've sticked with TWD mother series since the beginning and have supported It in it's ups and downs but they should Just drop all these differenti spin offs they have planned and Just focus on concluding the main series in the most sarisfying way possibile. Ok, i get It that Rick Is finally going to be coming back but let's face It, he should have never left. The series has suffered Andrew Lincoln's absence and announcing so many spin offs takes any excitement out of the main series since we know the series isn't really over, knowing Negan, Daryl, Maggie ecc are going to come back delutes the dramatic climax. To be honest TWD will finally be complete once we see Rick's ending

6 episodes really would be no different then 3 movies, movies run-times are usually 2hrs long so that's still 6hrs, 3 2hr movies. However, if they make each episodes runtime over an hour, like an hour and 15 mins you'll get a little extra on the runtime and maybe a 2hr episode for the finale. The good side to a limited series is that whatever ideas story wise they wanted to tell over 3 movies can be told over a single season. What I'd like to see is Rick be reunited with both his children, Daryl, Carol, Maggie and Morgan.

I can see it happening that in the final season part C of TWD, the group finally settles down in a certain place, finding peace where as a final shot or credit scene Danai en Andrew can be seen in the distance arriving. Then their show will show us their journey up until then and show their POV of them arriving at the main group, reuniting with the kids and the rest of the Walking Dead family

I think the only thing that bothers me is that this pretty much lets us know that Andrew won’t be returning as Rick Grimes even for a few minutes in the series finale.

Idk but I want rick and daryl together in the last episode of the spinoff!!!
