Everyone was calling Andrew the "new Armin" back in 2012 for TRACKS LIKE THIS. Then, either Armin's ego got in the way or Andrew decided to follow the big room cheese trend (or a little of both) and he started making awful big room tracks. But with "Everything Everything" and now this, it seems like the REAL Andrew is back :)

I heard this track on ASOT, and had to look you up Andrew. I've watched a few of your sets on RU-vid, and you're awesome man. I'm a huge old school trance person. This track is immediately TOP 5 after only one listen. So many trance tracks can be a bit 2 dimensional, and this track has a 4 dimensional feel to it! Great job. New fan here! Keep true trance alive!

Even Armin Van Buuren mentioned that he misses the old Rayel. Come on Mr. Rayel, 90% of what you have released last 10 years is passable to mediocre. You were a MASTERFUL pianist, an artist, a music composer, a muse, you were destined to be the heir of Mr. Buuren and take trance to new heights. Instead, on 2013 you decided to sell your mind, your soul and your body to the darkest demons, and began to produce terrible to average EDM and trouse tracks, every month. And what for!?! Well for money, of course. One or two tracks per year with 20 seconds of the old Aether Rayel. But, ten years have passed, I would assume that you already have a couple houses, purchased some for your family, and enough in the bank to live off the interest. After this pandemic, neither trance nor trouse will fill many stadiums, clubs or festivals. Too much time has passed, and many genres went out of mainstream, they are not cool, not the popular boys. Trance is one of them, geez most trance producers are closer to 50. Now, it is the time to cater to your old guard fans; the ones that would purchase your tracks on beatport, the ones who would go and see you on a club. All trance producers must be aware that they will not get the same amount of bookings even if all clubs and events returned today. Time passes. Trance might still get a stage on Ultra or EDC, but overall things have moved. It will be interesting. I think Trance has about ten years left. By then, Armin will be 58, and I cannot see how many new fans will be, much less how many of the old fans will still go to trance events in middle age. So now, give us AETHER! Come on Mr. Rayel. We need it.
