Andrew ACTUALLY gave steiny genuine love and constructive criticism. Everyone in Steiny’s circle knows Andrew was right but they aint have the balls to tell him to his poser face😂
@@michaelturley3457 You’re missing the point bro. Steiny was called out for not being genuinely there in the moment and it was obvious if you missed then I bet you have similar issues in your own social circles
@@LauFiu I was very aware Andrew’s fragile ego was hurt by not having Steiny’s full attention. What you’re missing is that he also called Steiny stuck in a character when he’s done the same thing for a decade and never been called out for it when it’s very obvious but maybe you’re too socially unaware to notice when someone is in character. And if your reading comprehension and intelligence was a little higher you would see the original commenter was commenting specifically on the poser aspect, not the lack of attention paid to the fragile man. Uno reverse dummy
Feel like Andrew couldn’t pick on anyone else so he picked Steiny. He was really mad at all of them. Andrew is fake too but he’s a hard worker I’ll give him that
Andrew is a yes man. He picked on Steiny because he’s the weak link. Andrew was out of line, just because you find someone lame doesn’t mean you should bully them on their own podcast
Met Andrew in NYC and he is such a chill and cool dude, he even held my phone and took a photo with me. The NELK boys are the definition of corny internet frat boys who think they are too cool for anyone, props to Andrew for calling them out and standing up to that loser Steiny.
@@andrewmcgowanthe4thcrazy to me people can’t see Andrew is fake as it fucking gets. They say obsession with transgenders is a sign of an empire collapsing. Schulz being the biggest comic of his generation is the sign for me.
The real mistake they made was not having Bradley Martyn on that episode. If your going to have a comedian and Steve on the same episode you got to have Bradley on it for the good questions. Im convinced Bradley Martyn is the only one out of all the nelk crew that does a little research and not just ask dumb questions
That was actually dope of Andrew. Straight up genuine moment. The one question that should of been asked was how the heck does Andrew know so much deep insider details of any place he performs at. My guy really does his homework before going on. Would be dope to know that process.
Every time I’ve watched a Nelk pod I’ve wondered how they’ve gotten so big… shallow questions, awkward moments, and seemingly unprofessional at times 😂 I think Schulz was just the first person to really call it out
@@Kxjihes a comedian and if you watched his stand up you’d know this lmao. Its like bringing bobby lee on pod and not expecting him to make you uncomfortable. it goes hand and hand
FINALLY someone is calling out how DRY the Nelk podcast is. I’ve had to watch them interview LEGENDS and it’s like a bunch of antisocial teenage boys speaking to great men of wisdom and they have no idea what to do😂
about damn time, steiny is actually bad people - that's the real reason he rubs people the wrong way. schulz nailed it, he's uncomfortable in his own skin so he trolls everyone else by playing his life as a character.
It all seems to stem from Steiny checking his phone mid-podcast (which, he later admitted was him sending a text message). Schulz rightly called him out on it, and it all just fell apart. Good-on Schulz for calling him out and just letting them know how he felt. It's so weird to me that someone expresses their dislike for something / a character trait and the person it's directed at loses their mind over it?! Why does everything need to be loved and liked, all the time?
@@maurits4845 you don't need to be funny to do well with a comedian on a podcast, you need to do your job well and make the conversations interesting and relevant to the person in front of you, let the comedian do the jokes
kyle is the only funny one in nelk, besides jesse who’s been gone for a long time. There’s a difference between having the balls to do pranks on strangers, and having the wit/charisma to be a comedian. I’m sure they would all bomb if they had to a minute uninterrupted of standup.
Here are some of the actual questions that were asked. You guys can decide if they are generic or not. 1-25 were the first 25 questions asked in chronological order. Obviously, way more questions were asked. 1. Steiny: So what's good, where'd you come from? 2. Steiny: Where are we, lower east side? (clarifying answer to question 1) 3. Steiny: You lived here your whole life? 4. Steiny: Now you're here with your wife? 5. Kyle: Was that (Infamous special), like, planned?....cuz didn't you want to sell it? 6. Kyle: Were you able to say which ones (the jokes Shulz wanted to keep in the special), you were like, pitching it to? 7. Steiny: Is there ever anything where you're like, "Yo, this is too far. I can't talk about this"? 8. Kyle: Yeah, how do you decide that? (How does Shulz know what jokes to say) 9. Steiny: So you think that's like a flex or is that a financial decision or like...? (referring to Nick Cannon and wealthy people, in general, having too many kids) 10. Steiny: You think that's a "pull-out" problem or you think....? 11. Steiny: But who do you flex, "I got 12 kids", to? 12. Steiny: But do you think that's a pull-out problem or you think? (repeat of question 10) 13. Steiny: What's holding that up? (response to Shulz: My wife and I are trying to have kids) 14. Steiny: You can't produce right now? 15. Steiny: How long have you guys been married? 16. Steiny: How does it change the relationship once you get married? 17. Kyle: Do you recommend marriage? 18. Steiny: How'd you propose to your wife? 19. Steiny: (You've) Talked about Mr. Beast, about the prenup thing....was that, like, a thought for you? 20. Steiny: Did you do it? (prenup) 21. Steiny: How'd you go about that? (Not getting a prenup) 22. Kyle: ...it's about legally doing it? 23. Steiny: What about in 10 years, would you regret that? 24. Steiny: You're 38, right? 25. Steiny: Is that a bad take, you think? (if Shulz's wife told him she had a IUD)
Seems like he got pissed at the wife questions (hit a sore subject) and took it out on Steiny. Comedians are narrative storytellers though, so I could see how Andrew would make him look like the bad guy for an unrelated reason (being sophomoric and unprepared) and nobody would be the wiser.
Kyle does literally no research on any pod. That's why he's always a fish out of water. And he's just naturally super awkward.. conversation is hard to flow when you talk to him
Yup , corny laughing . He slight bullied the energy . I understand Andrews perspective but as a guess is really not that deep to continue to talk to a little Knigge you don’t fuck with you could have controlled the setting with the other people on the panel and switch the conversation into a better podcast, but Andrew wanted to show off because so-called clout Clouted at him
Schultz says it hard for him to be around people who pretend and aren’t authentic but Akashi slapping his knees and bending over falling off the chair every second of every pod is okay I guess 😂😂😂 the Ol Jimmy Fallon treatment for Schulz 24/7 💀
Fr they are meat riders of shulz and they dont even fucc like that with each other. They just coworkers. Black dude and lil indian dude fake af and sensitive😂
@@k4m329you’re tripping. There is high level comedy that goes on in flagrant. The podcast actually has structure and they are crazy quick when it comes to banter
@@inactiveaccount64f nah they all contribute well. That’s why it works, they have good chemistry unlike nelk. Especially Mark, he knows exactly how to get Andrew going and is quick asf. Al is still learning but his laugh is funny. Akkash is the most understood because they think his laugh is forced and fake but if you really listen to the podcast, you’ll notice he doesn’t laugh outloud for most of the podcast. He only laughs outloud when he genuinely finds something funny
You need to have the capacity to differentiate hate from honest criticism, the Nelk Boys ask terrible close ended questions and end statements with conversation killers like "yea haha". Then the room gets quiet and they don't get the ball rolling again. The format is awkward and he's holding them accountable. "No one is hated more than he who speaks the truth" -Plato
Don't know the kid but whose godawful choice was it to include him on a podcast when the only thing he had to say was how much he doesn't like to talk! This whole setup was a recipe for disaster
He should've responded to the question about interacting with someone on the fly and said "Nah, It's all scripted, we hire people to interact with in the audience"
Andrew seems like a guy who would be pretty easy to talk to. They didn’t take advantage of his wit. All they had to do is ask him about topics going on in Hollywood, or pop culture.
@@SJH22 I think his point is, if your doing an hour interview with someone you should know about them a little bit. I watched the whole interview, and Andrew knew all about the other guys careers. Basically he was blasting them for not doing any prep.
Steiny was essentially gifted a role in nelk because he was their lawyers son and managed to befriend steve I believe. I think nelk just keeps him in because everyone hates on him and it has some entertainment value when people bully him and talk shit.
Lol so how did he get in nelk then? His dad is their lawyer right or is that bullshit. It's sad that we have him hosting the pod when it could have been jesse. Such a shame he chose to leave 😔
@@pabslau bob menery introduced him to Steve and then he was part of nelk as a assistant and then Kyle invited him to do the pod. His dad is a criminal defense lawyer that is wealthy but not working for nelk why would nelk need a criminal defense lawyer lmao. Nelks lawyers have been with them since they were doing pranks years ago when they would get arrested for pranks
It’s amazing their Podcast has gone on as long as it has. Brad singlehandedly kept it afloat for a while, but it blows my mind how bad they are with their guests. They managed to put me to sleep on their Alex Jones episode. I didn’t think that was even possible
@@EchoXnolimitshe isn’t apart of Nelk. They just invite him, Brad said on a recent pod with Adam22 I believe that they just don’t invite him to the podcasts anymore.
I first saw Andrew in NYC on the last day of Hanukkah; years ago at the Comedy Cellar. This guy is so genuine and so appreciative of his fans and audience. I ran into him at the bar upstairs. Totally a regular dude. So nice, so chill. I tweeted about his show, and he responded back the same night. The long and short of this, I am so stoked on how far Andrew has come since that show. Love you dude!
Schultz pointing out Steinys fake personality forcing him to be real was perfect. Steiny was acting so weird the whole time. Just made his inauthenticity show more.
Everything he said was truth. Kyle needs to take control of the podcasts. They ask the worst questions. The guests have to carry the podcast. I love Theo, but I had to stop watching that podcast because steiny and Kyle were so awkward.
That last point was so head on, I discovered a clip from the podcast without knowing what the hell happened and was like "oh an episode with Andrew on, oh wait what the fuck is happening" then this video popped up, watched it and went back to the podcast and that shit was hilarious
a lot of what they're talking about is out on youtube now.. search : andrew shulz goes IN what i wanna see is the first hour that led up to it. it sounds awkward af
@@thegreatfapsby5786 I love the way you respond with what you WANT my reasoning to be, so you have an easy way to discount it. You seem like a very intelligent person.
@@kalebross8795 I’ll break it down for you. The factionalized over the top version of himself Andrew plays on most podcasts he’s on is exactly WHY people like you have commented “wow this is the most real I’ve ever seen Andrew be!”. So, if that’s truly the case, isn’t it a bit ironic that during this ONE TIME you guys put him on a pedestal for being “real”, it’s because he’s calling someone out for being an over the top fictionalized version of themselves? It is objectively ironic, but I’d even go as far as to say I think it exhibits a PROFOUND lack of self awareness. Hope that clears it up for you and any others who are confused.
