The dollar is already a CBDC. They can already freeze your bank accounts and credit. They can turn off the atms. They could force critical businesses to no longer accept cash.

The digital dollar will be foodstamps or coupons when that happens & nobody outside the US will accept them. U'll need to pay in something of real value if you want to buy something nice

Great conversation! World Money = Gold 💰, Gold = Tier 1 asset, Everything will be priced in 9999 gold grams, The world trade currencies " CBDC'S " will = 1 gram 9999 gold. The BRICS meeting October 20th - 24th in Russia will outline the new world monetary system.

All interesting comments, however what no one ever addresses about precious metals is how to make the conversion of these metals into goods and services. If we have a CBDC, surely the powers that be will restrict, control, or heavily tax any conversion of metals into digital currency that one needs to purchase food, pay property taxes, buy medicine, pay for Dr. visits etc. Bottom-line is that the controlling authorities will ultimately try and take everything...their goal is total control and ultimately the enslavement of humanity where "they" are the overlords!

The current market/economy is unnecessarily tougher for boomers/senior citizens, I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the currentrollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.

I have used the same money manager for close to 10 years. We got in fairly early with a modest amount of money. we are lucky to have Jennifer look after it diligently like she has done the past 8 years.
