Literally the stupidest thing to do is to tell the number one player in the nation he's overrated, did you think he'd get scared of the chants and play bad????
They did the same thing in the Ontario OFSAA championship game...it was a close game until the 3rd quarter, when Wiggins went OFF after hearing those chants. The result? Vaughan Secondary won the Ontario championship. I hope this shit doesn't carry over to the NBA...all you're doing is fueling the man's fire lol.
the thing is, if my school ever plays a ranked player, our students section chants over rated even if we know he isn't. we just do it cause were assholes
in highschool ball usually when the school fans know their team is shit, usually they start teasing the other team or their best player. its perfectly normal in high school basketball games
People need to stop hating and just realize he may be raw but he has talent and will only get better with time and he has a killer instinct for sure its just that he doesnt talk when hes gonna do something he just does it
dude you're right on the three moves part, but the amazing thing is those three moves are all he needs. At a camp where he went up against some of the top kids in the states and he was clearly one of the best players. All he needs are those three moves, especially now since he's been working on his jumpers which is becoming a lot better.

He scored 21 and 11 boards and 2 blks in this game. In response to a reporter who said he was over rated in a different game he scored 57 points. Two separate games.
We should have won that game. Salute to Wiggins, but they only beat us by 5 points. We were in control the entire night. Things just didn’t go our way in the end. We had a good team and a great shot to win it. Never thought this game would turn into this highlight tape. Pretty cool. Wiggins is one of the best players I’ve played against. I’ll cherish these memories forever.
actually the 57 point game was after a sports illustrated article came out questioning the hype around him, he had 32 in this one, still pretty damn good though
no i went to cornell. my mother is an alum and my family lived near durham for 7 years when i was growing up, which is why i am a die-hard. hope that's good enough for you.

I started that overrated chant. I'm glad the video doesn't show his air ball, his horrific shooting at the free throw line, or his 12 travels he got away with. Wiggins was a stud, but a lot more happened in this game that isn't shown. And by the way, the Kentucky fans were crazy- guess what, HE WENT TO KANSAS! GO WALNUT!
He is not overrated. There is god reason for the hype. 1 of the best high school players I've seen in sometime...its not just he is athletic or hes tall which is why a lot dominate in High school then in the NBA its not that easy. You have to have polished skills...he has polished skills..check the foot work, the spin move off the dribble, ability to create his on shot, shot variety range etc. Combined with athleticism means NBA superstar potential..talking LeBron, Durant potential.
Kentucky still has the number 1 point guard shooting guard and power forward they also got the number 2 center so I think they will do just fine this season.
The fact is, the league he is in is extremely tough. He makes it look weak but that goes to show how good he really is. Also, He plays in multiple leagues.
I'm not saying your opinion is wrong but it's not saying that he won't get dominated. I'm about hour and a half away from Huntington, but I saw Andrew play against University of Charleston and Marietta College. He absolutely dominated both games, I think there is a highlight video of him against Marietta at Point Pleasant High School. So if you could check him out against a D2 school, thanks.
Canada has put them selves on the MAP lately, not only in Basketball but Hip Hop. Really need to take notice of our Northern Neighbors. He is another prime example of what type of Athletes they are producing. Don't get me wrong, the U.S. still dominates. Just giving respect. Anthony Bennett, although a shocker to me, was another example of Canadian B-Ball.
Well most of us who think someone else is overrated go our whole lives as unrated. Nobody is talking about anyone in that group but they are all talking about him.
The funny thing is at least half of the crowd chanting ''overrated'' couldn't even run up and down the court let alone dribble the ball. People who can't do usually are the biggest haters.
