I like both of the guys, Tony is the dude is love to have a drink with tho. and Andrew is so humble and happy. I couldn't imagine him being steaming, spitting angry.
Their shows are so different it's like comparing apples and oranges,While andrew shows the most bizarre foods and talks a little bit about the culture,Anthony explains a lot about the culture and food.I learn a lot from both but Anthony seems to give a more real approach about local shops.
Why all the hate and comparison? I respect both these people, they have different styles and taste somewhat different foods. The most important thing is that they both respect food as perhaps the most important part of cultures around the world. Sorry if I offended anyone in the process and I apologise in advance.
Ill go sit down with Tony EAT DRINK alcohol and while away anything under the night.and go home with a smile and be happy on another day! thats how life is enjoy all the rides. Even you end up scary but fun.
I'm sure I'd rather hang out with Tony before he wrote his book but no I would hang out with Andrew because I don't drink and I'm sure that is a prerequisite for hanging with Tony. Tony does look at life more like I do but Andrew would probably bring out my nicer side.
Bourdain did an episode of Zimmern's show, where, at a Queen's bar, they served him a drink that even HE couldn't handle. It wasn't talked about, - Zimmern was yapping about something, but you saw Tony taking that first sip - the only sip, & an immediate "Holy Shit" expression took over his face & stayed there. I think he even muttered "Holy Shit!"
Peter Wardrope, you’d think someone who doesn’t know the capital of Quebec would assume that Quebec City is the capital. But I guess he thought it wouldn’t be the obvious choice.
Zimmern is the type of guy who attempts to shove everything he knows into your head during dinner as a way to flex his culinary knowledge and life experiences. Bourdain is the type of guy that asks questions in hopes that you would tell him something he doesn’t know. That’s what makes Zimmern a big fucking tool and Bourdain extraordinarily cool.
