I was skeptical thinking this is another video saying no root needed and then it turns out you need to root. But guys this guide really does work. I was getting the no new messages available during this drive. But i then found this fix video and i was over the moon to see they are using the exact same dongle i am using. So went out to give it a try and all i had to do was put my wireless dongle into developer mode and apps started working again. Thanks so much for this video.

The whole purpose of AAAD and Fermata was to avoid paying for a $300 adapter, if CarStream doesnt work then theres no point

Bought AA Wireless and it works Perfectly with Radio Head Wifi unit. I just have to make sure Bluetooth on phone is connected to AA WIreless box and Not to Radio Head. 😎

Does this allow the netflix and youtube app to show up on your android auto apps screen? Or do u still neeed to use aaad to add them?

I can confirm this works on my 2019 ram uconnect. There is significant audio desync so actually watching video is irritating. AAD and AAstore do not seem to updated to tackle android 14

I downloaded the AAAD and fermata auto but i cannot see it on my android auto customize launcher, i already open the developer mode but still not showing on my launcher, only fermata media service that appears, how can i use the AA wireless while fermata auto not appearing on my customize launcher. My car radio already has built in AA Wireless Wifi and my phone has Android 14. When I tried install Fermata Auto I only see 1 FA Icon on the car screen and 1 on the phone Not 2. FA app does play RU-vid all I hear is the sound of Video but No Video Picture on Car Screen. Plays sound and video on phone 😬

It's hard to understand your video! CarStream and Fermata Auto do not apear in Android 14 phone but if I buy the AAWireless adapter and enable developer mode they will just apear? is that it?

I just had to open the app once on my phone and then they are on my car launcher as well. Didn't have to turn on developer mode but turning it on later today as it can't hurt

@@andrewcoleman581 he redirects back to android 13 days video - fermata auto from 8 months back. Which dosent solve the issue of android 14. The wireless or wired bit dosent solve the android issue, right? Or I missed something

Hey bro I have a question...I ordered the aa wireless device but have not received it in the mail yet..but when I downloaded fermata auto it's showing up in the customized launcher as "fermata media center" instead of fermata auto...will fermata auto automatically show up once I connect to the aa wireless? The fermata auto app shows up on my phone but it's not showing the android auto launcher or with the other apps on the car screen.

Same as on my phone, not showing fermata in the customize launcher but it will appear on the Android Auto as soon as you activate the developer mode on AAWireless. Nothing to worry about.

@@hamzabenarafa6782 I have an s23 ultra and the aa wireless just automatically fixed every issue I just installed fermata auto onto my phone and then used the aa wireless device and it started showing up on my car after that even tho it doesn't show in my phone in the android auto customized launcher..but I think u do need to yet the exact aa wireless device shown in this video the other brand don't seem to work from what I've heard. Hope this helps!

My H9b Honor phone just upgraded to android 14. Initially RU-vid doesn't work. After disable Open On Start under Addon/RU-vid, it works again for connect via USB option)

In fermata settings go to addon menu, then youtube menu. There are check boxes as OP listed. The setting mentioned is already OFF by default. I doubt this will work. Will try later.

@erkanankara9596 sorry at work.no video I did try this and it did not work. Only option I am aware of is to use an aawireless dongle. Fermata works on my 2019 ram with aawirless but there is massive audio sync issues so watching video is annoying.

To date, and based on feedback from other sources, the AA wireless appears to be the only functional option.

I guess because you'd have to hot spot from your main phone and reconnect every time

@@stefanoreale7457 I think hotspot won't cut it because android 13 has to connect to your vehicle's wifi connect first. So you should have a mobile data on that phone to make it work. You can't hotspot to your android 14 while connecting to your car's wifi. But I can understand where you're coming from.
