Google should bring the lock screen scrambled pin layout, firewall/per-app internet blocking feature, a temporary 'off'/pause functionality for the other users like the pause function for work apps in current Android, built-in app cloning,.. EDIT: one more thing, that there should be an option to choose which all quick settings tiles should be accessed from the locked lockscreen.
I enjoy watching your videos and frequently check your page for new uploads. I hope you'll consider filming in 60fps if it's feasible, as it would enhance the viewing experience and provide a clearer look at the device animations you review. I understand that some creators have their preferences regarding fps, but I just wanted to share my thoughts. Regardless, I'll continue to support your content in whatever format you choose.
I want a new Android Version for once to be about optimizations and not just about new features. Like an overhaul and deep look into the Android code, take out unnecessary coding, new intelligent code, optimize with the hardware and software and Apps, just like iOS and iPhone. Let's make Android as powerful as iPhone with 6Gb of Ram. Let's make Apps run as good as Apple's ecosystem. After Android manages that, the version after can be back to new features and refinements. My two cents 😊
Have you heard that they might be revamping sign-in page for google finally? The popup where they ask you to select a google account to log in. While not exclusive to Android 15, it might be coming alongside it
Hi man. It was said that older Tensor based Pixels might get a kernel upgrade under the hood. Which might help extend software support for longer term, improve cpu and gpu performance considerably and some other meaningful changes under the hood. I wanted to know that if that is still happening or not with the Android 15 builds? thanks
Nice update! Android just keeps getting better and better. Unfortunately, some people in the comment section think UI overhaul is the only worthy update SMH.
Would be nice if Google went all out on integrating features from Custom ROMs or other manufacturer skins. AOSP is seriously lagging behind and adding them would genuinely make it a huge upgrade.
You have options on Android. Pixels are known for it's simplicity and minimalism. If you enjoy those features from Custom ROMs, you can try out OneUI, but then again OneUI is more powerhungry than Pixel UI (although Samsung did optimise it a lot than before). Having been used phones from both Google and Samsung, I like the software more on the Pixels and hardware (Snapdragon variant, not shitty Exynos) more of the Samsungs.
@@NOTONtechsxno samsung did NOT "optimize" shit whatever you mean by that, just our phones got 10x stronger so a bloated piece of turd like OneUI or MIUI won't impact the performance as much
There should be an option of white and blue combination as in One UI while picking the theme colors other than wallpaper color. Currently it's gray and black. Grey isn't a good choice it should be pure white.
Is it just me or when I scroll in any app due to image render or load the whole scrolling effect just lags a lot, I am talking about stable version...happening since I bought phone last month
People saying they are taking apple route not changing too much at all guys think about it a little how many features can you add now ?? Android has reached its saturation point now much can't be added it's not lacking any major features at all unlike IOS
Most of the new features are under the hood. This is only the developer release. We will see new features when the betas start to come out. Some new features include developer tools to address hardware more directly e.g. the system on chip and camera hardware, and new privacy features like screen sharing only one app regardless of what else you may be doing. Other privacy features include improvements to the Privacy Sandbox and file integrity.
Everything you mentioned is just a small update, not a new operating system, what a joke. All those things Microsoft releases as an update to Windows, doesn't try to pass it up like a new OS as dishonest Google does.
@@agrillhasnoname You must be smoking some crack if you think file integrity and Android Dynamic Performance Framework's new features are small updates.. 😂 I will take them any day over some UI customisation crap that adds no value.
Has there been any rumors of an android desktop mode in development? I know they enabled the USB c port to display out on the pixel this generation but has software locked the feature.
I can't confirm the better performance. The UI is laggy and stutters on my Pixel 8 whatever version I'm using, Android 15 dp1, 14 qpr 3 beta 1, android 14 stable.
No excitement anymore since android 12, everything is the same. Some small tweaks like a monthly update instead of something major. It takes the fun of it
This is what happens when you run faster than your shadow. Android 15 doesn’t have any new features 😂😂😂😂😂 while iOS 18 is coming with some spices update, while creating room for next year ios 19 Up every time everyday
Basically nothing new. Just like another security ot bug fix update. Whats even the point naming it as major version nowadays? Android have been almost the same and featureless since android 12
It's still developer 1 very early. But i have to admit that aside material you theming and the new lock screen Google is conservative compared to Samsung
@@arjunna2364 no. Android major version always come with alot of minor changes and features into the past up until around android 10/11. Literally every major version come with empty features after that See how android 13 to 14 bring almost ABSOLUTELY nothing at all, I mean features or at least useful one Enjoy passing someone using pure android 13 a pure android 14 device without telling him, I bet most of them won't even notice there is a major version updated even after using it for 1 week, thinking they were still using android 13. Unless they hit the android 14 new bugs (Bluetooth issues, scrolling lag, increased gap at bottom screen UI and so on)
This is getting ridiculous, Android is starting to become the new Assassin's Creed. So many of them all are the same no one cares anymore or notices any difference. Whoever looks at Android 13 or 14 or 15 they all look the same, can't notice any differences because the differences are tiny.... Just a small tweak here and there, a small improvement, better memory management.. That's it. That's not a new OS dudes it's the same OS. What you are calling new versions of Android are in reality just tiny patches or updates. This looks like the yearly FIFA, everyone is tired of it because it's always more of the same, copy & paste. Makes no sense to release new versions of Android if almost everything is the same. Release a new OS version when there are major changes and a lot of stuff is different.
