If you're wondering who can do something about 21s new super I made a video showcasing just that! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pGJGcxCYiG8.html
Honestly, hard to say later on how it’ll be for the meta, but for now I think it’s a welcomed move in the game. Takes work and meter management either to land it or not get hit by it and it not an instant kill. Also as a spectator it’s fun to watch.
Yeah there’s so far only 2 set ups found that can work on SOME characters. It’s super committal and team focused but I welcome teams focused on a win condition.
@@cloud805er so honest opinion, considering how much work it takes to pull off (and Beerus gets the same damage free) do you think it *should* be instant kill?
I’ve hit this move raw sometimes to try to get health back but apparently every time I tried it my opponent didn’t know how to stop it and it was satisfying
I was the first set in this video, lol. I think this was my first time playing in months, lol. I've never been very great at the game, but I was super rusty here. And I always had a suspicion the people I fought online were like way above my skill level. Mfw I see myself on a Cloud805 vid randomly >.< Good matches, though!
I remember saying “fusions are low tier in this patch” and I was met with responses varying from “just pick a better character” to “you deserve it”. How do I deserve it? I was a Gogeta Blue specialist. To add context I was asking for buffs and made a buffs wishlist: I knew all of the buffs were absurd. After seeing GT Goku get guard point on his rev Kamehameha and Android 21 get a full screen unblockable super that regains health and has guard point, I am now even more confused. And secondly, I said that I was wanting to do the whole cast to be equally as absurd beforehand, so these people were just being jerks.
… how so? Not mentioning Ginyu players figuring out setups to combo into, even a normal vanish into c assist setup is hard for a big chunk of the cast to avoid if they don’t have bars or big range grabs. Not saying the unblockable super is a one move win game (it’s certainly broken though) but that’s like saying dying to Gogeta lv 7 is also totally and utterly deserved.
@@whYLiE09Haven’t tested the exact numbers myself but I don’t think super jumping a buncha times reduce the damage that much, maybe the total hits seems smaller but it’s still a big chunk. You can try out the Trunks flipping up at full screen and even that still ate like 30ish percent or some decent number like that
you take roughly 30% from full screen. only way to avoid damage outside of beating it is using moves that have invincibility to soften the blow. you can check out the pinned comment to see the video i made of what characters can do against it. Also she gets back 60% health if she can pull it off so even if you take very little damage she still gets a huge benefit.
