Another phenomenon is that, when the battery voltage only 8V to 9V, when there will be no sound when playing a DVD sometimes high and sometimes low, there is little distortion. When the voltage is lower than 8V, the radio will not receive the station, there is no sound, other features are also no sound (silent machine).

What he did was raise the relative height level of the slot a few mm's. Now the CDs will clear the face plate's dust curtain assembly. It probably had just enough "tilt" pressure imparted to throw the disc out of level causing it to not engage in the drive mechanism here. Guy is a logical thinker for sure!

Thanks for your support. There is a screw in the unit cover so the DVD cannot insert in. Just remove it that is ok

Had this problem with an android mtce unit and figured I'd try this as it seems most of them are set up very close alike between manufacturers. So yes mine was close to how yours is. I worked with the mount tabs and now I can listen to CDs or watch DVDs just fine and eject them just fine! Mine wasn't accepting discs and at first I thought I missed the two hold screws on top but I did pull them so the tray was just off by just enough to not line up. I know these units are cheap compared to others in the market but a bit more quality control in this area would be good for these manufacturers. Anyways, thanks for this video!
