helpful!! i didn't start my car for 1 to 2 weeks and everytime i try to, the battery flat. This is ONE of the reasons with these android headunits. so, if you are planning to not use your car for more than 3 days, turn the sleep OFF. Thank you Habil for this important video.
You *MUST* to disconnect the *red and orange* ‘ACC’ wires which are linked with connectors. These wires disconnection has to be done for modern Canbus cars in order to prevent battery drain. Conversely, old cars without Canbus need to have these ‘ACC’ wires connected.
@@PippeML If the headunit is draining the battery after just 3 days (72 hours), then setting the standby time to 2 days (48 hours) or 1 day (24 hours) would be a more prudent strategy.
This is the solution im looking for!! Thank you for sharing! I taught i have missed some wirings because of this scenario. 😅 Again thank you for this tip!
I start installing my android unit yesterday , on a Ford Mondeo.Original unit was coming on without ignition up to 1 hour but this android i can have it on for max 5 min- anything that can be done to increase the 5 min? Also when i switch it off the screen goes black but the audio is still on also up to the 5 min.
Every time I turn my car off for more than 10 minutes, when I turn the car back on, the unit is on, but the screen is black. The only way I can get it back on is if I push the rst button and then lose all of my settings.
