Mr AutoFire is a great run and gun video game that I found recently on the Google Play Store. The objective is to make it through the stages while avoiding being shot down by the enemy. The good thing is that Mr AutoFire (the guy who you are playing) has an auto tracking feature that automatically zooms in on the enemy with 100% accuracy, so all you have to do is shoot and they will be hit. The controls are very easy so that all you need to do is control his direction of motion as well as his jumping abilities.
As you progress through the stages, via time warps, the enemies get bigger and harder to kill. There are also various bosses as well that you need to destroy. This is a fun game, with cartoon-like graphics that you will enjoy while on that long road trip. Enjoy!
