Your Android phone gets stuck in Recovery Mode and won’t boot up? Today’s video will show you how to get out of the Android Recovery Mode and reboot to the Home screen.
What is Android Recovery Mode?
Android Recovery Mode, also called Android System Recovery, is a tool that’s originally embedded in your Android OS phone. It is a very useful tool for Android users as it fixes various Android errors. All you need to do is to connect the phone to a computer, press the combination of Power button and Volume button to enable the recovery menu, and trigger the fixing options. In general, Android recovery mode can help you reboot the system, reboot to the bootloader, hang on /system, update firmware, restore factory settings, and more.
Why and how to fix Android phone stuck in Recovery Mode?
Though, chances are that Android Recovery Mode stuck. It won’t enable you to use its given command options to restart your phone or turn it off to get out of Android Recovery Mode. What causes the stuck in Recovery Mode Android phone issues includes stuck buttons, flashing ROM problems, malicious apps, and more.

Your phone can’t boot into Android Recovery Mode? See if you follow the steps correctly. The button presses to enter Android Recovery Mode on a smartphone might be slightly different depending on your phone model. We’ll take a Samsung phone as an example.
How to access Android System Recovery Mode:
1. Use a USB-C cable to connect your phone to a computer.
2. Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons. When the Samsung logo appears and the phone vibrates, release the buttons.
3. When the Android recovery menu appears, use the Volume buttons to highlight options and the Power button to use the command options.
How to exit Recovery Mode Android
1. In recovery screen, press the Volume buttons to choose Reboot system now
2. Press the Power button to go on.
3. Wait for your phone to reboot and turn on in normal mode.

ohh my god this video saved me. My phone was stuck in recovery mode after i restarted it. I had no idea why. already searched for answers for like 30 min. Then this video said that its normally stuck in recovery because of stuck buttons, It seems like my phone case is causing the button to be stuck which ended up causing my phone to enter recovery mode over and over again. ive been on this recovery mode over and over again for like 30mins i tried factory reset but it just brought me back to the recovery mode. My volume down is not working, power button became deeper and the volume up is wobbly. Is that the posssible cause?

Hey my problem is when I power in the phone (moto 5g stylus) is not stuck in recovery mode. The phone powers on but it's stuck in the very first screen showing Motorola logo and powered by Android.. from there I held power and volume down too open the initial bootloader.. then tried recovery mode.. does same thing.. opened bootloader again and then hit buttons (forgot which) until I got "no command" then I hit power button and tapped volume up to get secondary bootloader. I factory reset the phone with data wipe have not tried cutting it back on because it says in secondary bootloader: "WARNING: Previous installation has failed. Your device may fail to boot if you reboot or power off now." I viewed the recovery logs but I don't know how to code so I get confused thinking regular processes look like a virus ex : atomic commit.. I did see something else suspicious but idk may be nothing.. the phone worked fine I put in the SIM card from my other 5g stylus (same phone) idk if that did something it seemed fine but it didn't transfer service like it used to do so I put SIM back in my old phone but I forgot to return the old SIM back to the phone I'm trying to fix.. would that cause a problem it shouldn't.. #2 is there anything I can try from secondary bootloader besides wipe data/factory reset to try and resolve this warning message? I ran graphics test which installed an update but still have warning message. Any help I would really appreciate. The phone is NOT rooted.

1. You can use the volume up and volume down buttons on the recovery mode interface to select up and down, and select the "wipe cache partition" option. Use the power key again to confirm it. After confirming, please wait patiently for your phone to finish clearing the cache. After clearing the cache, please restart the phone to see if you can enter the main screen normally. 2. Please turn off the phone for 30 seconds and press and hold the power button of the phone, once you see the Samsung logo on the screen, release the power button and press and hold the volume down button. Wait until your phone finishes restarting, and "Safe Mode" will appear in the lower left corner of your screen after the restart is complete. Please check in safe mode to see if the problem persists.

My flip 3 somehow went to recovery mode after the battery died. Now, my phone has a broken side key(power key) and the charging port is malfunctioning. What can I do? I tried holding volume down,(it leads to the same menu again), and volume up(it leads to custom UI or reset phone). I tried reset phone when custom UI screen came and again, back to recvovery.

@@celiachu5409 i couldn't fix it. all my data is wiped and i had to install new software because that was a software crash or something (I don't know very well) . if you select the wipe data option it will not work either. you need to take your phone to a service :(

You can check if there is any foreign object stuck on the button. If there is a problem with the hardware itself then you need to take your phone to a repair center and let the technicians help you check and fix the problem.

You can try the methods without needing the power button in this video. If these solutions can't help you fix the issue, take your phone to a recent repair center to repair the power button and the phone.
