M31 is hard to capture live, especially in bortle 4-5 Nightsky. But you can see a Transit as well as a Shooting Star, if you watch until the very end. Clear Skies everyone! @@starguy2718 its all about perspective. it is technically the weakest of the fundamental forces of our universe (the other 3 are strong force, weak force, and electromagnetic force), but is unique in that its force is exponential given time and mass, whereas the 3 "stronger" force are only more powerful at the atomic and subatomic levels and drop off in power very quickly over distance. And in the vacuum of space which offers no resistance, the "weak" force of gravity can slowly build momentum and pull even the most massive objects in the known universe together. something poetic about that, in my opinion

@@praveen136 Hello, nice to meet you. And what makes you think they are more primitive than us? Why is it so hard to believe that in this infinite cosmos, we are not the only "intelligent" ones? That's very arrogant of us don't you think. You do your own research. Contact has been happening for quite some time now. And they are our family. Not some enemies. You can read the books that I've mentioned. There is Dr. Steven Greer's documentaries- Close Encounters of the fifth kind. You decide for yourself what resonates with you. You follow your own intuition. I shared what I resonate with. You don't have to if that's what you want to believe. Discoveries are still being made, we have not yet explored the entire cosmos. We are still exploring and learning. Many unexplained things have been happening and will continue to be so. Early scientists had a firm belief that the earth is flat and the sun revolves around the sun. But later everything turned out to be quite different. Nobody could have thought that one day we could fly, but now, we are exploring space! And the scientists know everything, they themselves have been in contact with the light beings for a very long time now, where do you think they are getting their sudden updated technological advancement from. However they are not disclosing anything to the public. I wonder why? It's something to think about don't you think? Many people are already awake. It's time for the others to wake up to what has been going on . So don't just believe. Explore and question your reality.

They could never be watching us, they would only be seeing our past, they would be seeing us 2.5 million years ago in the past, and regardless , they could never see the Earth past or present anyway, our Sun would be the only thing they could see along with the other stars in our Milky way. The planets are obscured by the stars light. If they could see a planet it would have to be very near to them, like the way the star Alpha Centauri is to Earth which is only 4.5 light years away, any planet orbiting that is even hard to see from Earth using Hubble.
@Strange_Man1911
@Strange_Man1911 3 года назад
They can't see us, just our galaxy. Even if they have the technology to see individual stars on other galaxies it will be impossible to see planets. Intelligent life is extremely rare, especially for conscious beings like us. Who knows what could be out there, life is very dynamic and changes with it's environment. There are microbes & plants which are very common on habitable planets. Smaller animals like us, and primitive colossal dinosaurs are a step up; at least here on Earth. The next thing now is advancing space travel technology which is extremely hard considering the shear extremity of space. Space is a very hostile space for life, though it could be possible. That's something we're starting to explore and we'll start by taking small baby steps. Who knows how many centuries it might take to finally commercialize space travel to nearby planets.

tonight was the first time i actually saw it thru my telescope :) i wanted to see it since 2 years, tonight were perfect clear skies in germany, so i threw my telescope in my bmw and drove out to a nice dark spot, its pretty hard to find it even with night sky app, but i got it and i watched it over an hour it was soooooo beautiful even tho u can see only a dark grey cloud, with light in the middle shining through, but its mindblowing to see another galaxy, bigger than ours, imagine how much intelligent civilizations must be there :) amazing..... im still blown away

Thank you, good material for schools! This illustrates, that space is mainly empty - what you see with the naked eye are just the more dense parts in the center of the galaxy. Then, if you start summing up light from a few seconds, you see, that there is more. The pretty pictures we are used to (from the Hubble-telescope e.g.) - these are from light summed up for hours. It's so mind-blowing if you think about iit: The stars, which create the light, are mainly just as big or smaller as our sun (light would take ~2 seconds to travel a solar diameter in vacuum). The distances between the stars are in a range of several light-years: So, it's mostly all empty, just a few very bright spots scattered around.
