I would say to give him a 2 year extension. Let Bryce compete with Dalton next year for the starting job. If Bryce can't beat out Dalton then draft somebody in 2026 and go BPA in 2025 and stack talent until then.

Or you can just have Bryce learn behind Dalton for two years, give Andy and three year deal with a third year option, and if Bryce isn't ready by then, then draft a QB, but don't get a QB now, get a pass rusher and a line backer and maybe a safety

Absolutely agree. Even if they draft a QB next year, Dalton should remain the starter for the next 2 years

@prettyboynewton5957 one year didn't break him so bad that he can't be fixed over 2 years. Plus we have seen this coaching staff elevate young players and make them better each week and we have seen how Dave restores QBs, so why don't people trust the coaching staff to build back his confidence over 2 years. I just don't agree with picking a QB this year only to go down the same path as Bryce because we can't win games because the defense isn't good enough and their are not enough skill players, the next 2 drafts they should focus on getting a pass rusher, line backer, safety and another receiver or right tackle/left guard, then worry about getting a QB after Bryce's fourth year if he still isn't good enough. Build the team before getting a QB that the Panthers will have to pay
