Such a cool car holy shit What I don't understand though, why a twin-turbo V8? You could have all the power your rear-wheels could ever cope with from such a lighter package?
Quite honestly one of my favourite pieces of engineering, it's well beyond a car at this stage. Andy was explaining the brake issue they'd been facing on the car at Brands Hatch, as I understood it the bearing was shifting under high G force, which in turn moved the brake rotor and pushed the brake pads back (with the pistons) into the brake callipers. Then, when braking, you had to essentially push the brake pistons and pads right back out to the surface of the disc. That's the kind of thing you just don't hear of 99% of the time as not a lot of people really need to even consider such things. Great people behind that, great bit of kit too.
