Andy Gibb was just a little sweetheart! This is the 3rd duet with a woman I've watched and he's kissed every one of them at the end ;) Wish I could have sung with him...
Ive watched alot of them ( duets) and he did he look at everyone one of them like he really was singing to....them. lord, i would hv melted all over the place. What a loss😓

This is such a wonderful duet...just fabulous! Lisa is a beautiful lady with a great voice...Andy sounds so sultry and gorgeous and has that twinkle in his eyes as always...I love both of them but I have a soft spot in my heart for my Andy...this video is a real treasure....
Love Love Love my Andy and his brothers... my heart still hurts when I'm listening to their music or interviews and know Barry is left here without them. Cannot imagine what his heart feels every day without these three he loved so much. I always remember Barry saying "All of our lives we sang together and performed together because that's what we always wanted to do. And we did that"... Love the Gibb family... so much love and respect, especially how the guys treated their wives. The weren't perfect, but they came about as close to it as any performing family could have.
BTW... the rude comments about Lisa Hartman... you have to remember this was the late 70's early 80's and this was the style. She is and was a classy lady.
Andy was SO terrific! He had a sad ending. Drugs abuse that started out as a fun escape soon took over and cost Andy his life. So sad! Lisa was hoping the role on "KL" would launch or relaunch (inspire?) her music career but it never happened. She got more TV projects and ultimately met, fell in love and married Clint Black. She is happy supporting her husbands career and occasionally sings with him. The two had a daughter who is now in her 20's.
I love lisa & her husband clint"s performances when I say I do. Actually all their songs together.. I think she did really good with Andy as well. & the way she dressed this was the time of the style I remember this as well. So back then this was the normal way to dress. I wished she continued to sing though. She has a beautiful voice. She met clint @ 1 of his concerts he fell for her automatically. I also remember listening to Andy & his brothers. I know with him being the baby of the family was hard on them. I remember andy being crazy about Victoria principal but she didn't feel the same about him.
She stated she did Love him very much however she wanted him to make a choice, get clean or she could no longer be with him. Very hard decision to make. I have seen her talk about him since his death & you can tell she still deeply loves him.
AG was certainly the best host of a variety type show (Solid Gold) or in this case a regular on Dick Clark's show. I have really enjoyed the duets you have posted. Thank you so much.

I like the version he did with PP Arnold better. She had the same range as Lisa but restrained it so as not to overwhelm the song. Doesn’t matter though, Andy could sing the phone book and I would still love it!
Becky Buchko, I couldn't quiet figure out what was a bit off with the duet. And u hit the nail right on the head. This could have been an outstanding duet if Lisa had held her voice back a bit. None-the-less, it was good. But could have been better. Heck, ARG looks so sexy; I'm willing to overlook this little imperfection. ARG; LV..LV..LV..U
Ha ha ha ... so right Watch his duet with Marie Osmond called Suddenly OMG Amazing Marie's voice is superior to Lisa's and she pulled it back to get the right match. It is favorite of mine. :)
Becky Buchko I agree with u Becky Buchko. ARG & Marie voices r the perfect fit/compliment each other. Additionally, the attraction between ARG & Marie is so evident during their duet of Suddenly. ARG, my EVERLASTING LV.
Its so sad he was supposed to do this song with his ex girlfriend Victoria principal he talked about it on to tell Donahue show but then they broke up because of his addiction so sad he had amazing her friends now he's singing with the angels God bless you Andy May you rest in peace
In a way it bothers me people keep dwelling on what he did' he was young away from his brothers'who knows what he was going through who knows his heart might not had nothing to do with drugs reason I say this sometimes conditions go back generations'his system was clear of drugs and alcohol' .he's gone maybe reason god took him was to save him from more heartache and pain, so unless you a medical Dr and know about disease s I would not judge Andy.being the baby having famous brothers, I'm sure he did his best to be his own person, everybody you hang around with is not your friend some say try this u will feel better being young and innocent, and away from those you love people try new things..I just respect fact he gone still missed and loved by many, lets dwell on his talent not the bad stuff its done, let it go I'm sure god accepted him , didn't judge him for any mistakes he made.love and respect him for being the sweet lovable guy he was,.miss you dear Andy rip.love always, n.JJ.
Lisa Hartman has entirely the wrong take on this song. She belts it out, almost screaming, at times. Not that kind of song. Then Andy who is singing it with the sensitivity it deserves, is pulled into doing it the same as her.
I don't think they practiced this, if they had Lisa would known her voice took over the song, this song was meant be soft and tender.somebody could told her to pull back a little sing with Andy not at him, never the less it sounded pretty good. His brothers did a beautiful version of this song with perfect harmony..rip sweet adorable Andy, love and miss you. N.JJ.
