One of my favorite performances. His voice and delivery are so beautiful and full of feeling. What an incredible singer. This is from 1983 at Party With The Rovers, filmed in Northern Ireland but airing in Canada. Shadow Dancing at this performance also on RU-vid. Another really moving performance is his duet with Rebecca Holden.
Oh my word! The emotion. He sure knew how to interpret a song. What a gift! When he sings "how can you leave and let this feeling die", I shouted out "I'm sorry!"
WOW. I love hearing him sing live and his lower register voice is beautiful. One can almost feel the pain he seems to be feeling. THAT is a talented singer.
After hearing Barry's version this depiction/ version is the best, you can feel his heartbreak just something you cant relate to unless it happens to yourself. So wish Andy had the time to move on and do such great things
Una de las mejores interpretaciones de Andy no tenia porque irse, su voz al igual que la de sus hermanos era privilegiada, siempre la seguire escuchando ,me llena de paz y armonia.
The way he conveyed a song. Wow! You felt his music. He was a truly gifted young man. I love everything he ever sang. Nothing was rubbish. All was great!!!
I don't know but this song gets to me soooooo much. Can't explain it. I feel sad already just writing this. I can't go on and so I'll just listen to the song.
Magnífico, um anjo cantando, melodia impecável, voz, interpletação. Poucos, raros cantores conseguiram e conseguirão chegar a este talento coom tanta musicalidade, sensibilidade na voz.
I feel similarly. My dad once said that mother and father feel it the most when a grown child dies. He was right. A youngish widow(er) often remarries but an aged mother can never replace that dearest piece of her. Sadly the beautiful Gibb family paid a very high price for the fame that brought curses of addiction and destructive rivalry.
Voice isn't what it had been but his tremendous interpretive skills come into play here. He would have been one of those who wouldn't have been hurt the least bit by aging. Shame he never got to do that.
Andy may sound like Barry, but you can certainly feel the emotional vibe of Robin too, and after he gone through the drug problem, even though he lost his glorious falsetto, he had the warmth, the deepness and sincerity of Maurice's voice too, so I know people always said that drugs spoiled his life but I would never say that, because he already had some health issues and his "new" voice was even better than his 70s' voice!
He was so heartbroken and to sing this song must have been so hard for him. I wish things would have worked out differently so that he would still be here with us. Just before his death he was making a comeback album and there was talk of him joining the Bee Gees.
tiffany branton - I still swoon over Andy after all these years, I had such a crush on him when I was 13, it’s 40 years later. 😳 Thank you Tiffany- I hope 2021 is your best year yet ! Stay healthy and happy!
I love this song and for a long time I could not listen to Andy’s music cos I was so sad about his passing and it has taken me all these years to hear his beautiful voice again!! He was a great performer!! God Bless you Andy!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
he is so habdsome...Iam 35 years he died when I was little child...what I know is My father loves to collect Andy gibbs's songs in cassettes and I became his big fans..now I know how handsome he is...
I saw Andy in Ottawa in in spring 1977. Believe it was one of his first live performances. I am a big fan of the Bee Gees but I prefer Andy's version of this song.So sad he died young.
Yes he did seem very upset after he sang the song , but he did say that after the breakup he suffered a nervous breakdown and she felt nothing.....! Very sad. He was such a sensitive person. Family and love meant everything to him. Rest in peace Andy. You are missed.
Janice Carroll You are absolutely right. Andy was a very young, sweet and a family man you can say. Truth is Victoria didn't love Andy at all. When Andy made her his priority, she made him just an option to live with whom she could change anytime. There's a saying that we close our eyes while praying, kissing and sleeping because most beautiful moments of our lives cannot be seen. It can be just felt. For Andy, Victoria a single person was the most beautiful, important chapter of his life that he trusted on BLINDLY. He was such a simple, down to earth man.
I often like to imagine he would have eventually connected with his daughter had he lived longer. First fame was too much for him. He lost his wife and daughter when he first became famous and was using cocaine. History repeated itself with VP, but I think Kim cared for him more as she was with him before it all began. VP was all glitz and glam. She moved on very quickly with a plastic surgeon Andy found for her. Never let someone become your world, unless it is your children. Rest In Peace, sweet Andy.
beautiful song 01/28/2020 Andy Gibb - Lyrics (Our Love) Don't Throw it all Away Maybe I don't want to know the reason why But lately you don't talk to me Darling I can't see me in your eyes I hold you near but you're so far away And it's losing you I can't believe To watch you leave and let this feeling die You alone are the living thing that keeps me alive And tomorrow if I'm here without your love You know I can't survive Only my love can raise you high above it all Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love We can take the darkness and make if full of light But let your love flow back to me How can you leave and let this feeling die This happy room will be a lonely place when you are gone And I won't even have your shoulders for the crying on No other women's love could be as true, I'm begging you Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love We changed the world we made it ours to hold But dreams are made for those who really try This losing you is real But I still feel you here inside Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love
