Goldsworthy's artworks often involve creating sculptures using natural materials such as stones, leaves, ice, and branches. He also uses the environment as his canvas, making artworks directly on the ground, trees, or rocks.
One of Goldsworthy's most famous pieces is called "Stone River," which he created by carefully laying out hundreds of rocks in a winding line along a riverbed. Another well-known piece is "Roof," which he made by stacking slate stones in a cone shape on the roof of an old farmhouse.
