The mythical town of Mayberry where all problems are fixed in 30 minutes. Who doesn't want to be sitting on that porch with Andy, Barney and Aunt Bee singing gospel songs. Slowly rocking in the rocking chair while listening to the crickets chirp and finally drifting away to sleep. Memories of a better time and place. Cheers
Whenever I feel over whelmed...rushed...hurried...or get a cluttered Mind....This is my go to stress reducer. Afterwards...Life doesn't seem so chaotic.
I'm a university student and I'm always busy and running from place to place. I've got a job, do extracurriculars, and am in my senior year, so there's so many responsibilites. And with a phone I'm always on social media, constantly saturating my mind with noise. I usually have something playing or am doing 3 things at once and am seldom alone with my thoughts. I remembered Mr Tucker and came back here for a moment of peace 😂😂
@@AdrianTomlin-tx3so Even better, I’m gen Z! But my dad raised me on old television and taught me not to condescend to things of the past. So I appreciate this show and find it very enjoyable (and many other sitcoms from the 30’s-60’s). I am finally out of college and am no longer feeling like Mr. Tucker, by the way! :)
I love this episode but I don't think I ever saw the ending. I just saw the episode the other day and the final scene was cut- in order to make room for more commercials, I assume. This is a shame. The ending is priceless and is so beautiful.
That’s the way life was with my grandparents peeling an apple without breaking the skin boy I remember doing that with my grandfather lives too fast now we all need to slow down
mr tucker!! that guy made an appearance on gomer pyle as the man from washington who gomer decided to march him down to the brig for failure to show id upon entering the base
Meanwhile, Hogan is planning on the next bridge to blow up less than a mile away from Mayberry. It was all recorded on the Back 40 lot. Look for the aerial views.
Robert Emhardt turned in a similar role in the episode where Aunt Bea was recruited to do commercials for that character's furniture polish. In that episode, his character was much nicer.
