Andy's apple farm is back with a Christmas Special Play Andy's Apple Farm - m36games.itch.io/applefarm Get Christmas special - store.steampowered.com/app/1813050/Andys_Apple_Farm_Christmas_Special/
And I love how nobody in the game acknowledges that Andy is an apple. Probably just cuz it doesn’t go with the story, but it’s still funny how the player notices every time they joke about it.
“I know my son Louis is for sure. That little guy always begs me to put up a Christmas tree come Nov. 1st.” Meanwhile Louis: *”Why would I want to hang a sock?”* Andy: :’D *Ok wait no wonder he isn’t pleased with Christmas, HE GETS ONE SINGULAR BOOT AS A PRESENT.*
The random awkward silences between the characters at some points just makes this incredibly funny 8:22 Does anyone else remember having these clocks in like grade one? Or was that just me
I thought peter was the police or something? In the first game 'pumpkin county' was mentioned + in this game the pumpkin said 'you are fully aware of what you did" something like that. Also the bee i forgot the name is melody's friend if i remember
Bailey bee (idk if I said the name right) is supposed to be Melody's friend that Isabella went to after witnessing Thomas kill Arthur, her real name is Sam well that is what I think tbh
So here's the story thus far: a down-on-his-luck computer game developer has a wife and two kids. His kids take a boat ride one day and his son falls overboard and is never recovered, presumed drowned. His daughter blames herself and becomes depressed while the dev becomes an alcoholic. His wife grows tired of his alcohol-induced violence and divorces him, with the dev's best friend moving in to take care of the daughter but ultimately starting a relationship with his ex-wife. But that's not all of it. The son's body was never recovered. The daughter was held back by a demonic entity that later possessed her father our hero, taking control of his brain and making him violent. The entity made the dev burn down his house with his ex-wife and daughter still inside, and later made him axe-murder his friend. The entity then left his body and, once sobered and in control of his own body again, the dev tried to bring the dead back to life using his latest game, which is implied to have supernatural elements in its design. The entity killed him too, though, and trapped the five of them in the game. Andy is the game developer, the narrator of the intro. Margaret is his wife. Melody is the daughter. Felix is the son who fell overboard (hence why he's got a fish head). Claus is the friend. Peter is the entity itself, inserting itself into the game to keep torturing them. Dunno about the bug lady, though, but given that she's got a portrait she's likely to appear in a future update.
I think I made a realization that whenever the screen bugs out a bit (as in the screen flickers rather that the most obvious most disturbing "bugs"), it's actually an indicator that something creepy/disturbing is about to happen or could happen (or lore is about to be revealed cause that's what usually happens when the disturbing stuff happens). At the time that I made this realization, it was during Felix's and the screen bugged out at Mike was grabbing the last stocking. I had the thought "huh, what if that means that something disturbing is gonna happen" sort of as a joke, then just as soon as he put the last stocking down, the disturbing thing happened. Then the screen bugged before Andy opened his present and it bugged before he went into the maze. I also realized it bugged before the game's first cutscene started and actually, as I'm writing this, I think it bugged during Thomas's speeches before the game starts (the "disturbing" thing that happened would be his backward speech). There's actually quite a few instances when this happens (including in the main game) so I can't remember them all but having this realization actually makes sense as to why the game bugs out that seems like it wasn't intentional in parts that everyone's game bugs out at. It IS intentional and actually may be a coincidence (cause maybe I'm looking too deep into this and the flickering bug was just a way to make the game seem more old) but who knows? Idk, this was just something I wanted to share because I noticed it as I was watching this video.
9:11 I can imagine Andy just sitting down, turning around to see Peter looking down at him while Andy jumps back with his arms behind his back for him to not fall back. Then peter twists his head to the side like the common horror games
Honestly, the most shocking thing about this to me is that it actually reveals new lore. Peter the Pumpkin is now confirmed to be the eye creature from the last minigame of the main beta of Andy's Apple Farm, as well as being seemingly the creature responsible for everyone being inside the game. This also confirms Andy's spirit/the game's creator was seemingly the one who brought everyone to the pumpkin... *and* that Andy is completely self-aware of the nature of the game, judging by his dialogue with Peter where he blames him. Something that doesn't apply to the rest of the characters, it seems.
Peter: starts twitching his head Me: what’s going to happen boi Peter: plays his original song but scarier Andy: I am absolutely fine Mike Brain: wit!?
What i thought the Christmas special would be: a dead bleeding body with realistic eyes wrapped up in gift wrapping What it was: m o r e e y e s *in a Christmas way*
I think Andy is the dad, the dog is the wife, the moon is their daughter, the fish is their son, and the clock is Andy's real life best friend. In the original game there's a cut scene where real life Andy and his friend are talking and it makes it sound like the friend was with Andy's wife while they were separated (after their son died and he blamed the daughter for not saving him) so he burnt down the house while his wife and daughter were in it and then killed his friend with the axe. I guess he had guilt or something cause then he put them all into the game he was making. I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think that's what happened
You can check out SuperHorrorBro’s videos on this. He never really wanted to kill them but the demonic entity forced him to, then trapped them all in this game.
the halloween made it seem more like a mod but this... this is wonderful. like they remodeled the characters, added better jumpscares and they managed to make Felix a tad bit more funny. makes it seem like a perfect horror game but then theres this is only a Christmas thing :(.
You have to explore the other secrets, Bijuu. Spoilers One of them has to do with getting caught by pumpkin man. The other you explore the house before doing the present minigame.
At 6:32, I used the caesar cipher and then atbash cipher and the actual message says, “It’s getting dark. I can’t breathe. Why are you just standing there?” (Note that the actual decoded text was in bad grammar)
dude, andy is so cute, it's like...he's b a b y, he gets treated badly by his friends and then peter over here is like *Let's play a damn game you little sh-* and andy is funny lol
0:01 *H A P P Y* Now to do my job with the text Ehm ehm *Cracks Knuckles.* 2:06 I love felix hes my new favorite character ngl I love that hes just here "I just wanna play with my apples" - things mike shouldn't have said
“I just wanna play with my apples, I just wanna have fun with my friends and bake cookies…AND NOT DIE!! Is that to much to ask for! Apparently!” ~Bijuu Mike 2021
i just love the fact that andy's apple farm is getting more and more closer to becoming a full weirdcore game not even dreamcore, at least it's not that calm ??if jt ePNjoh
Andy didn’t actually get an apple Its the tortured soul of Thomas Eastwood. AAAAAND Eastwood killed his friend Arthur and he now possesses Claus. Thomas possess Andy. His wife Kameron Possesses Margeret. Their son Louis possesses Felix. And their daughter Hannah possesses Melody. Hope it helped you piece it all together
Hey! Watch Super Horror Bro's theory on the original game and this special! It answers so many questions and he tells you the whole story. His theory was confirmed by the Christmas special so I would recommend watching it to learn about the story!
