How Charles Stanley wiggled around his divorce from a wife who was crying out for love from her husband, still amazes me. He split his church and told the voting deacons who, by 66% of the vote, kept him as the pastor, "I am doing God's will in staying as the pastor of our church". Yes, it is believable that this divorce and dealing with all the controversy enabled him to dive into heretical waters.

None of this is about the divorce. It's about the rejection that Andy experienced as a "Southern Baptist Christian." He wants to be accepted by the world which is impossible: "The world hated them because they are not of the world just as I am not of the world." Andy has been hosting a small group for homosexual men for over 20+ years. He wants the Church to be liked and accepted by the world.

If a proper understanding of the character and person of God is not taught then when things go wrong, a denial can occur. What I am saying does not get Andy Stanley off the hook. He is still accountable before God. I can promise family dynamics are stronger than the SBC. His craving for Worldly acceptance is fueled by what happened within his family.

May I ask you a question? North Point was my church 10+ years ago. Thank you for your service. About 6 years ago, Clay (former pastor) & Debby Causey (head of all care ministries including parent connect for alphabet parents & pushing NP to affirm same sex Christians & now a NP pastor) encouraged a father to help their lesbian daughter transition to a man by paying for her double mastectomy bc God would still love her. After her transition, NP baptized her under her new name and her community group cheered at the celebration. After complaints, NP Nights removed the video interview/conversation from the NP Nights YT channel. The convo with Brett Trapp (blue babies pink) is still available. They have been publicly baptizing same sex loving "Christians" for years. Over 8 years ago Andy told journalist Kirstin Powers that Jesus would bake the cake. Knowing all of this, why would you continue to do business with NP rather than resign from all employment until Andy and North Point repent for their unbiblical- heretical teachings? Ryan V, pastor in Arizona who attended the now infamous pastor meeting, was recently interviewed on a podcast and he specifically said that Andy told the group of pastors that Andy explained to them that he actually advised 2 men to get married.

@@misswinnie4.8 Hey Miss Winnie, Thanks for your reply. Oh wow I haven't heard of that stuff either. The thing is that North Point was never my main church and I would miss many sermons and things going on in the background because I was just filming content and surface level stuff. I filmed many baptism videos too for several years and never came across any openly/active gay people getting filmed. If I did I wouldn't feel comfortable filming it. I am just learning about a ton of things and am definitely taking steps to cutting my services off. I just read original message above and screwed up the last sentence. I meant to say "I am looking for next steps to STOP being a contractor with them from time to time." Since this video hear I have seen more things come out.

Some of his sermons are grueling from his fathers church. He makes fun of it. It must to be extremely painful for his father to see it. Now he is with God, but Andy did much damage already.

I don't think that is the thrust of what he is saying. Of course everyone must be welcome in the church. It is a "hospital for sinners", so to speak. The question is affirming something we know is sin. And that's what it sounds like Stanley is dong. He has a lesbian women on staff at his church, who sends homosexuals in the church to places that will "affirm" their sexual orientation. Being a sinner isn't the issue. It's remaining in the sin. You can't have that in a healthy church

Some days I think he feels rejected, being raised as Baptist was hard for him. Maybe he is preparing the path to came out as gay, I just wonder why, why he would do that? His father divorced his mother, but he looks like a great father, very sad.

We are called to judge and discern all day and every day otherwise you will be deceived. Satan's goal is to deceive mankind and he is much more intelligent than any human in the natural. Satan loves your statement and definitely hopes we will accept everything and everyone he sends to trick people.
