Andy Wallace drives Le Mans winning XJR-9 LM and new Jaguar XJR at Silverstone 

Filmed at Silverstone on November 4, this event re-united race driver Andy Wallace with the Jaguar XJR-9 sportscar in which he won the 1988 Le Mans 24 hour race together with Jan Lammers and Johnny Dumfries. Andy drove several laps of the full F1 circuit at Silverstone in the XJR-9 as well as in the latest 16MY Jaguar XJR. The new XJR features full LED headlamps and the film focuses on the advances in headlamp and lighting technology since 1988 - when even the 200mph race cars had to make do with tungsten halogen lamps!
The 1988 Le Mans winning XJR-9 is owned by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. It makes frequent appearances at events each year and is maintained in full running order.
