Andy never actually had any involvement in those $50,000 commissioned portraits other than shooting and choosing the polaroid image. They were all done in some sweatshop in New York (or was it Brooklyn?). I think he occasionally would phone in and suggest some colours, but that was all. What we see here with the Farrah one is purely for the cameras.
