Andy gave me one of the most memorable weeks of my life! Always a fan, scouring yard sales for his albums when all my friends and some family thought I was crazed. I got a call from my college choir director in March 1986 asking me if I would join a small choir he was assembling to sing with Andy Williams at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. I was able to meet him, he signed my album and every night, in the middle of Moon River, he would look back at me and wink or smile. I'd swoon every single night! Last night, I was outside the stage door and when he got inside his limo, he blew me a kiss. I looked around to see to whom the kiss was meant and he mouthed the words, "No, YOU!!" I often wondered what would have happened had I approached that limo. I had it bad for Andy all my life. Alas, my Dad drove up, Andy drove off and that was the end but I'll never forget it. Yes, the William Brothers were a thing and Andy had his entire family on his annual Christmas specials. Thanks for taking me back!

I can see why you mistook Andy Williams for Bing Crosby. They were both the greatest crooners in music history. Andy Williams had his own tv show which was on the air from the early 60s to the early 70s. I was 4 or 5 years old when I watched the Andy Williams Show in the early 60s which ended in the 70s. I loved his songs so much that by 1981, I finally got to see him in concert.
