What patronising rubbish. Each guest at Angama pays how much per night to stay there? The profit is split 50/50 - are the beaders paid a wage before profit, or is the 50% share also their wage? How many beaders are there? In terms of contributing to the local communities this is nothing compared to the profit made by Angama Lodge which is funnelled out of the local area. And the beaders are used as a little tourist attraction in their own right. There's bugger all empowerment or dignity in that.
