Players passed forward more, but players without the ball generally failed to break free and create scoring opportunities and the player with the ball would give up and pass the ball away. Then, it was back to uninspired defense. Not in earlier season form and nowhere near on par with Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, or even Chelsea. Question is, why? Do players just intend to continue to go through the motions with coach after coach? I hope this is not the same message IN the locker room to the players. COYS!

Ill just point out a few things that have annoyed me for the past few games. Vicario and VDV are the only ones i can applaud. Royal has no attacking output and defensively, hes so vulnerable and rash. Romero walking back after going forward is also unacceptable. At times he takes a million touches before playing the ball giving time for the opposition to settle in. As good as porro is going forward, defensively, he switches off from time to time. The entire midfield might as well be ditting on the bench because they seem to have 0 chemistry. Losing the ball there when out fullbacks are playing attacking mid is what hurt us in all these games. They seem to second guess every pass and at times seem unsure where they should be poisitionally. Jhonsons only move is to show the defender down the line which everyone in the league knows. They also know kulu has no right foot so he will cut back 99% of the time. Maddison looks like he forgot how to pass because all his through balls are played even though we can clearly see 2 players anticipating that pass when he looks up. When teammates make a run through from halfway to 18, it sdiscouraging if you dont play it multiple times, which is something i noticed son do. Trying to dribble and make things happen by himself and then losing it is just not it. Overall, the obly players i would say did well and were unfortunate are vicario and vdv. The rest have been dreadful in their own ways

Ange is a good talker straight forward and honest but he will go down the same road Conte,Mourhino etc because Levy will not back him as he didnt to the others before him.

Ange is a manager who would have done well in the Wenger-era, as a man-manager and primarily with a Plan A that rarely changed intra-season. The game has moved on, and he is yet to prove he isn’t analogue in a digital age where you have managers like Pep, Klopp, and Arteta managing minute details of intricate systems. Ange might still surprise as being adaptable and after another transfer window, but I think odds are a bit against. He’s a bit like Martin Jol, and that isn’t good enough for Tottenham fans anymore. I suspect they will reflect soon that Conte should have been backed for longer, and the primary issue was Levy not adequately supporting him with transfer ins and outs.

So I just feel sorry for VDV and romero. If the inverted full-back strategy is not immediately changed to a three-back strategy, it is expected that the remaining games will be lost.

The only player i pity in Spurs is Son, he has been loyal so much to Tottenham and is time he move on to join another good club
