Takes me back 2 when I was 16 and moved 2 Toronto, just a wet behind the ear kid and going to after hours clubs. My friend's brother took us to where I listened to music that you play so reminiscing of those days. The Thrill Is Not Gone When I Listen to your Music 🎶
Awesome, I'm glad it takes you there , almost all of the songs I choose to sing have some sort of memory attached to them, it makes it easier to get in the space to sing with feeling
I just got turned on to you guys. I feel like I hit the lottery! I am sharing you guys with my rockin’ “hippie” friends who appreciate good rock, good southern rock, good bluesy music. Y’all need to come to New Orleans! Thanks for the high…
Killed it as always guys!! Please keep on making music to share , you are an amazing bunch & have had a huge impact on all of us who follow you on social media . 😎👍
Gorgeous... So soulful. I Loved it, You guys Rock..! Wish you'd come out to northern California some day sos I can see y'all in person. Keep sharing your awesome talents with us out here.
@@paulkype I’ll host one of those “living room concerts” in my backyard…! Are those even a thing anymore? Sonoma County has a decent blues scene, locally anyway. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
Just to add to your comments here…I’ve heard, and seen live, performances of this song done by the Tedeschi Trucks Band - which was also the 1st time hearing this 💟 song. You guys did an amazing job with your own 👍 cover - as always! 👏
Although you said you do 👍 this, IDK how you can possibly compare Bonnie Rait (‘anyone could ever beat’) with Paul Kype/Texas Flood’s cover to her’s (a woman no less)? It’s really not fair imo 70ish opinion to make judgements based upon one’s OWN preference and choice - everyone is entitled to their personal ideas! * BTW - I think Paul and Flood are 👏 musicians and have a lot of their other covers too.
The first time I ever heard the song was watching Bonnie Raitt do it live , I loved it from that moment on , but it took years before I decided to have a go at it .
We really aren't ignoring them , we are vert much like two sets of brothers up there , one set focused on holding down he rhythm , one set doing all the frilly bits . But we are all deeply engaged and listening to one another
