Welcome back Angel & Tom!! We are excited to see them both getting the nest ready for their upcoming 2024 season! Look at how different Angel looks this year with her almost white head feathers. Last year she had quite a bit of brown in her head. She is a beauty!! ♥
This will be Angel and Tom's third season together. Their first season together there were not any eggs probably because Tom was not quite mature enough. Last season, Angel laid two eggs and both hatched. Unfortunately, Tom accidentally killed the first hatch with his inexperience. However, Tom quickly figured out what to do as a parent and the second chick grew strong & fledged successfully and was named Deyani. Angel and Tom continued to grow their bond stronger over the past year and it is exciting to see them both actively bringing in sticks and nesting material.
Angel laid her eggs last year on March 24th & 27th.
