My best friend moved away a few years ago, I had only known him for a year but we kept in contact. Almost a year after he moved, maybe two, we started calling everyday. I was on a trip to Europe at the time. We both confessed to liking each other since we met. We decided, due to the distance, to wait on dating. We finally visited half a year after that. Long story short, he's my boyfriend now, we're in love, and this is our song.
I actually have no idea about the identity of the back up singer, I just thought she reminded me a lot of Tegan or Sarah. I was a lame attempt at humor. BUT, I was serious about appreciating her contribution to the song. It was awesome.
Sorry, yes, the backup singer, not the bassist. I thought she looked a lot like Tegan or Sarah. (comment above edited accordingly). AND, thanks for pointing out the identity of the singer. Heather is very cool in this performance.
People think I’m absolutely nuts when I say that Angel is seriously the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I absolutely love her music, but absolutely every aspect about her is so gorgeous. If I could describe a type I have now , when people ask, it would be “Angel Olsen”. ❤️❤️❤️
look them up on Ultimateguitar.com. Chords to this one are pretty easy. i'm not endorsing anything, by the way, I just rely on that website for guitar help.
she really needs to sort out a better drummer, every live performances i've seen he's rushing or dragging the tempo when he comes in shame because he has really nice parts
Have you guys listened to the recordings?? He does that intentionally because he's serving Angel's song and he has good dynamics. He's not some robodrummer. As a drummer, I know that serving the song takes way more finesse. Sit down and learn a thing or two if you're a drummer.
I think its because two of them are doing the chord progression. 1 guitar is play open. And the other is playing barred chords.it gives a fuller sound. Then the other one is doing lead. It can also be due to harmonys. Im not. Saying thats for sure what they are doing but its a good guess. Sorry about my spelling
