All anyone needs to know about Reese comes right out of her own mouth every time she says "When *I* won" so-and-so - the national championship, Olympic medal, whatever. She acts as if every win that she participates in is solely because she was playing. She gives absolutely no credit to the many fine players also on those winning teams. Contrast Reese's taking solo credit to Clarke, who always gives credit to her team and her coach and anyone else deserving of credit for getting her teams up and winning. Guess what Angel - it was never a one-woman game. Never. Every time you take more credit that is your due, every time you take solo credit for a team performance, you show your immaturity. You need to go back to kindergarten - and pay attention this time.

I'm a 68 yr old white guy, I had watched a little WNBA yrs ago. Now, I'm definitely not an expert on basketball, I started kind of following last yr during their college games, these young ladies are very fun to watch. Angel has let her ego get in the way, which has definitely affected her play. Caitlin has stayed focused and played ball while getting the sh*t kicked out of her. Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, Hull, and Smith have all improved their game due to Caitlin. They all compliment one another.

I sat in a restaurant and watched a full quarter of a WNBA game and 12 points were scored between both teams. At one point 9 layups were missed back to back by both teams. At least 5 bounce passes that caused turnovers and an air ball. This reminded me why I never watch the WNBA...how embarrassing it was.
the interesting thing to me in the Clark/ Reese contest is that Reese is making herself out to be the victim in this contest where as Clark has no idea who Reese is as far as impact on her. Meanwhile Clark is living rent free inside Reese's head.
The fact that these WBNA "stars" (using that word extremely loose) have been complaining for years about their lack of pay, lack of stardom, lack of popularity - and now that Clark has come in as a white girl and broken all these records and brought some form of "awareness" and growth to the league will continue to reinforce the notion that no one hates seeing women succeed more than other women.

A'ja Wilson was the arguably the best player in the WNBA this year. But there was no player more valuable to the WNBA in the 2024 season than Caitlin Clark. There should be two seperate awards, the BP award and MVP award. Angel Reese isn't in the top ten for either. On another note: if the Fever are eliminated in round one, I wonder how the TV ratings will fare in the finals?
I used to hate Steven Smith....he was such an antagonizing and polarizing figure...as he has said about Angel Reese in forgiving her for being very young. Steven A., himself, has matured and seen the world and I think he realizes that there is racism coming from both sides and now he has become a calmer more balanced voice.
It is amazing that Caitlin Clark finished 4th overall in MVP voting as a rookie. Just like for ROTY, CC smoked Angel Reese, who finished 12th in the MVP voting. Even Kelsey Mitchell beat Reese in the MVP voting. Caitlin Clark is now 4-1 in her last 5 matchups with Reese this year going back to the NCAA tournament. Clark is in the playoffs while Reese quit on a lousy, toxic team that finished 13-27 on the season. There is NO rivalry between Reese and Clarks because it is so one-sided in Clark's favor.

22 years old is young? GTFOOH! I was 7 years old when my father passed away, my mom had been a home maker. She started working right away and it was my responsibility to take care of my 2 baby sisters make meals, clean the house, while mom worked a full time job (40 hours a week) and 2 part time jobs! No car (my mom had to take buses everywhere).

Back in the 1920s my Grandpa (1915-1993) ran away from home (N.Okla), hopped a train (or several) to wind up in Montana, got a job up there working for a horse trainer, stayed there 4 years then hopped another train to California where he got a job working for a carpenter building houses. Did that for 4 years then took trains back to Okla. Guess how old he was when he got back to Okla?? 17 So when he initially ran away up to Montana he was FN 9. NINE So Angel Reese is “ONLY 22” ?? 🤣🤣🤣
