When I saw him at the Amsterdam show in 2012 I was sad because of his performance, At this show, I was sad because the show was over! MANSON IS BACK BITCHES!!!!!
This song reminds me of the father I never had. The band sounds great!! Miss the lows and growls that MM used more back in the day. Needless to say, the overall energy is excellent. MUCH better than the "too drunk to perform" shows from the EMDM tour.
Right?! As much as I loved the use of the Suspiria theme on the last tour, I prefer the band using intros they wrote themselves. And I sincerely hope this is a Manson / Tyler Bates piece, or possibly a snippet from the new album, as no new songs were played. Whatever it is, I love the shit out of it either way.
***** Yes last Tours intro was great also, but this is.... WOW. This intro is all Tyler Bates.. Since he's a Score writer. I hope this could be on the new album. Manson probably thinks it's so great, to share it. Maybe he'll have a Intro like on TGAOG.
TheMan0106 Nah, it sounds entirely different. Bates worked with Manson on the new album, so it's not unlikely that he didn't compose an instrumental piece to serve as an intro like "Thaeter" on Golden Age. And they used it here to give us a tease on what they've worked on together. Or it could've been composed solely to serve as an opener for the tour, and not necessarily the record. I hope it's both, because I really like it a lot.
Thanks for the upload. I was supposed to see Manson again at Altfest, England...but that all fell apart. Gutted I can't see him, hoping he comes back to the UK soon, looks like a great show...but isn't it always!
so fucking angry alt fest got cancelled, was supposed to be going with my mum to see them to celebrate a whole year since she was last in hospital, was really looking forward to it. sorry you can't go either
It's a fucking joke isn't it! From the statement they released (really, really late) it is obvious that they were running into problems months ago. Why leave it so late...I had friends coming in from mainland Europe, who have lost out on money, I had holiday time booked from work. Jokes on us huh! So unimpressed at the way everything was handled, so unprofessional. Was kinda hoping Manson would still come and give us a show.... Sorry to hear about it being a celebration for you two, it would have been lovely to spend the time together at a festival. Take care of her, I'm sure there will be more festival times for you guys!
i know, also why did they release the tickets a week before they made that statement, they would of known for weeks if they were having money issues. it is a joke and i'm not impressed at all. i would love is manson still did a show somewhere. who knows. just really pissed off at the lack of communication
Yeah, my tickets arrived on the Tuesday, just after all the rumours began to trickle out on the Monday...WTF! I have not heard of Missy and Dom but people say they have a good reputation in the alternative scene...not any more they don't! There reputation is in ruins...no one will ever trust one of their events again. And quite frankly...I'm glad. I can't believe it took them so long to release any kind of info to the fans who had payed out their money. Their lack of respect for us fans is appalling.
i was there and it was fucking insane to see marilyn so close standing in front of you. it was the best concert ever when it was over i was all sweating because everyone went insane it was so fucking great.
Well, it's not nearly as good as the opening to the Dead to the World tour shows, but I suppose this is pretty damn good considering it's been 18 years since those shows. Thanks for sharing.
So far I just saw on the MansonWiki: Line Up from the show in Utrecht: Marilyn Manson - vocals Tyler Bates - guitar, backing vocals Paul Wiley - guitar, programming, backing vocals Twiggy Ramirez - bass, backing vocals Gil Sharone - drums
