This actually makes sense. Seeing that Oliver actually liked her, she assumed there must be some good in him. After all, someone who only wants to see someone suffer could never be capable of love, right? Well, this wasn't even love, he just thought she was cute and that was made very clear, but she still believed in him.

Yep, as I expected. The olive oil we know today was still the same person as in the past. Surprising? No really. so oliver just mean for the fun of it that even worse I had expect his parents treat him like he was nothing that explains why he treat his family so badly over never been treat with in a loving household but no he just a bad person for no reason thank god will didn't repeat his mistakes when becoming a father he end up thankfully being good parent that actually loves his kids like his mom
