First saw this on youtube back in mid 2000s i think with the japanese MTV with her playing in the background. Was already a fan of FF and I really waited for this game to be released on the PS2. Finished the game and enjoyed the ending FMV while this plays in the background (in English of course) She is a great artist. Song is full of emotion though tragic in my sense but i still love it.

She's a very talented singer. I saw her live in Tokyo a few months ago. She happens to be quite a comedian (reminds me of Bette Midler). She chats along with the audience, rocks with them (yep, she rocks), but in the end, she mesmerizes everyone with her ballads. One heck of a talent.

Nobuo really has a great way with melody, and Angela has the perfect voice and sensitive piano skills to tease out those inflections and dynamics. He should write more songs for her, or maybe they should team up!

Well it's the same thing for many Japanese artists isn't it? I went to a Dir en Grey (a popular Jrock band) concert in San Francisco, CA and there were only like 200 people? They have thousands at each Japanese concert. It made me realize the reason more Japanese artists don't come over to America. But back to Angeal Aki, didn't she fail to make it in the American market before going over to Japan? She has a beautiful voice, but she's more marketable in Japan for some reason. . .
Perhaps at her discretion, or more likely, her management/her team/her contractual agreements. Though it be a sad kiss goodbye, it be not the aching embrace of farewell.
