14 years vegan, I remember being teased in school for being black and vegan.

You know I lived in the country my whole life and never experienced anything bodily eating every and anything.. in LA! I have experienced what she said with mucus, and inflammation and couldn't control it. It isn't food. It's food in the city.

I strongly advise people to do their research on veganism. No meat source whatsoever and the surplus of soy products and processed vegan food wrecked me. 3 years vegan and I now have severe thyroid issues and anemia issues. Thyroid issues are hell on Earth. Did eating vegan directly cause it? Can't say for sure. But I sure as hell did not have these issues before. If you're vegan I strongly suggest finding a steady protein source that isn't full of soy and do your research. I still eat 90% vegan but I eat organic chicken and fish. I feel so much better

I respect a vegal lifestyle but I don't believe that meat is bad for you, maybe processed meats & commercially raised animals are bad bcuz of chemicals & hormones in their upbringing are bad. But vegans tend to use huge herbivorous animals as examples. But the king of the jungle eats meats, bears eat meats so that point is moot. Nothing is wrong with eating meat, organic wild meats is the best. That's why native ppl lived so healthy under all those adverse conditions

Angela, Vlad ...with all due respect...stop talking about metabolism. It’s not your forte. Meat or protein doesn’t attract meat or protein and it’s pretty easy to breakdown. Detox and acid/alkaline is bullshit and fat is fat not inflammation. The problem is people don’t eat enough vegetables and don’t exercise enough.Most people who go vegan are finally eating alot if vegetables and also do other things more healthily and thus feel better and beat disease. You might also want to look into the math of supporting a few billion people on calorically sparse vegetable matter. If so I. The year 2050 we’d all be 120lbs. (Most bodybuilders are on steroids so please spare those comparisons ) There’s no data to suggest beef makes people aggressive. Being stupid and immature does.

The reason herbivores are so large is because they have to eat huge amounts of plant material and they need gigantic bodies to support their digestive systems. The plants that herbivores eat ARE NOT the same vegetables you eat. Humans would die quickly if they ate leaves and grass. You can't even process a lot of the vegetables you eat, just like with meat. Meat eaters can be smaller because the meat they eat is basically concentrated calories. They don't need extra stomachs. We Omnivores can eat both and thrive quite well. Moderation is the key....
