She’s far from expendable. The interviews aren’t as good when she’s absent. Just like they aren’t when charlamagne is out, etc. Each of them are important to the overall show in different ways.

From what I remember from Joe, is that he said he was in multiple meetings with execs from many companies, and they were "offering Ms (millions)." And after all the meetings, no deal was made with anyone, they would let the Spotify deal expire, and the pod would just be on RU-vid. I remember thinking that Joe messed up; there was an opportunity for everyone to get a nice payday, but Joe got in the way. I wouldn't blame them for being mad. I may be compressing the timeline of events, but I think this is when Parks was about to buy a house and get engaged, Mal was apartment shopping, Rory bought his mom a car, so people spent some money expecting to be okay afterwards since they were counting on a deal getting signed. All in all, I think the guys had high hopes for the future, and then Joe took them backwards.
