Thanks so much for continuing to follow and support Angelica. She definitely is a major star in the making. She is already a star and she hasn't put out an album lol. You can tell by the way the song is edited that she had a very limited time to sing the song on the show. I find it incredible that she could move so easily into transitions. At 10 years old, her transitions are flawless because they are so smooth. There are seasoned singers who can't do that. What I most love about her is her purity, innocence, and passion for music and for people. Did you know that she is the ambassador and spokesperson for the Kidney Foundation. She is the youngest person to ever be honored with that role. She travels all over the country raising monies for children's hospitals and to make people more aware of the need for contributions to the Kidney Foundation. Recently, she went to Washington DC and she interviewed 2 senators. She is so mature and articulate at her age. It's amazing. I loved her in this performance, although it was extremely short. It showed so many facets of her voice, her range, and vocal control. Her high notes are amazing. Right after the high whistle note, there is a softer high note as she transitions into the next line. Effortless. Angelica (you called her Jessie), is definitely on the road to becoming a legend in our life time. I believe her voice, which is already maturing, will only get better and that she will still be able to hit those high whistle notes throughout her career because they are not forced. She sings them with ease and they are full bodies. At 10 years old, there are not many singers who can out-sing her in a live performance without auto tune and voice enhancers. In addition, she has such mastery for a 10 years old. It is sooooo stunning. She remains humble, sweet, compassionate, and committed to helping others. She said it is her mission in life. I think Terry jr commented Angelica sings 28th confidence...there is a reason. Her voice coach has said Angelica trains so hard that she simply KNOWS her voice will "be there" for whatever note she needs to hit. That creates a lot of confidence...just sayin'.
