Angelica Hale: 9-Year-Old Earns Golden Buzzer REACTION!! 🔥 

They added guest judges last year during the judge cut rounds. A different judge each round. Each guest judge also gets one golden buzzer each. Also, the young girl I think you're thinking of is Jackie Evancho. She actually was runner-up in 2010 at the age of 10, but has had a remarkable career singing classical (She is 17 now) putting out 5 albums I believe and topping the classical charts with each one. I always love your reactions. Angelica has been performing in front of large crowds for the past three years. She performs at Children's Miracle Network functions across the country. She sang the National Anthem at the US Open in 2015, the opening day for the Atlanta Braves 2017 she sang at the Miss America Pagent 2017. She has performed on Wonderama (sic?). You can see these performances and more on her RU-vid channel. I have not seen a child with the ability to convey emotion and passion through their singing since Michael Jackson. Yes, I'm that old. She is truly amazing and such a blessing.

Because AGT is so big they have an extra round after the auditions called The Judges Cuts. It gives them a chance to whittle down to the size they need for the quarter finals rounds. All the golden buzzer acts of course miss this round and go to the quarters automatically. This round is for the 3 and 4 yes's ones. They also each week of this stage they have a guest judge who each has a one golden buzzer, hence Chris on this show. When all the rounds of judges cuts are done the judges will go through and eliminate the number they need to. She of course no longer will be involved in that stage as she is automatically now in the quarter finals.

During the second round of auditions on America's Got Talent, the Judges must pick 7 acts out of the 20 that perform that day. AGT then adds a guest Judge to the panel to break any ties during the Cuts, 13 acts during the evening go home. But one act will get the Guest Judges Golden buzzer to advance to the live show.

For me, even if you remove the singing performance, her manners, reactions, and confidence are already soooo entertaining. She plays instruments while singing too. She has her own RU-vid channel. Check it out!

chris hardwick was guest judge. usually after the first round of audition, their will be a second round called judge cuts, where they will put a guest judge and who will be deserving the golden buzzer. according to what i understand haha. hope that helps! love your cute reactiond

So, after the 5 or 6 audition weeks, they have judge cuts weeks, where each show they have 20 performers who each got 3 or 4 yes votes during their audition and have to cut them down to 7 of those 20 which go to live shows. Each judge cuts episode has a new guest judge, and they each get one golden buzzer, which leaves 6 to be decided on at end of show to go on to live shows. So, 4 main judge golden buzzers, plus host's golden buzzer, plus one for each guest judge.

I can't stop watching this girl singing. She's an angel. God has a reason for giving her second life so she can inspires people with her voice. God bless u angelica. I'm sure u will win.

I agree that she deserved the GOLDEN BUZZER during her audition, but didn't get it. I'm thinking that all FIVE golden buzzers were given out before her audition so no one could give her one. During Judges' Cut, she has to perform and wait to be judged by panel of five judges and make it into 7 available spots. But the fifth judge they invite during 2nd audition is also given a golden buzzer to press and whoever gets it, skips the judging process and automatically takes one of the 7 spots and move onto Live Show directly. I absolutely love that system especially in this situation when one truly deserves it. GO ANGELICA!

They have guest judges that can vote for their own "golden buzzer moment". Also, Tyra gets to have a golden buzzer choice also.

I like your reaction guys. Chris is a guest judge. After Hiedi, Mel, Howie and Simon use their Golden Buzzers 1 guest judge is invited per episode and they use their Golden Buzzers. So a total of 8 Golden Buzzers are given per season.

Yeah, in the elimination rounds or judge's pick they have a guest judge on each episode and he or she can push the golden buzzer to an act they deem deserving. This episode the guest judge happened to be Chris Hardwick.

she can actually play the piano and she also sings classical songs :D you can watch her videos in her own yt channel :) i think she travels all around the world even before she joined the show to help in charities i think. because she had a kidney transplant before when she was 7 and so she helps in hospitals

Judge Cuts is the second round in place of the Vegas rounds from the early seasons. Guest Judges get a Golden Buzzer act during that round, and can use it on anyone that they see has potential or something like that. Anyway, Angelica didn't win the million dollar prize, but she DID make it all the way to the final round. Plus, she can play the piano. Check out a video on her channel, and you'll see what I mean. Also, Jackie Evancho is the young soprano singer you were talking about. She started competing during the Live Shows, I believe. Season 5 had RU-vid auditions where 9 acts were chosen by the judges, and the last one was determined by the most number of online votes (that, of course, was the season Jackie competed in, because she got the most online votes). Anyway, she, unfortunately, did NOT win. She finished in 2nd place. A guy named Michael Grimm won that season, though Jackie really should've won. Nobody knows what the heck Grimm is doing in regards to the music industry, but Jackie is doing REALLY well. She's grown a lot, for that matter. As for contestants doing original songs in this show, it's always risky, and sometimes, it doesn't go well, but Grace VanderWaal took that risk, and received unanimous praise from the crowd and judges (Howie, especially, since she was his Golden Buzzer).

The girl you were trying to remember is Jackie Evancho. She was 10 or 11 when she was on the show and she sang Opera and she is 18 now I believe and has 7 albums to her credit 4 of which debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart and even has a couple of platinum albums.

You really must also react to the golden buzzer during the Judges Cuts round for the other 9 year old Celine Tam. If for nothing else to see her reaction when the buzzer is pressed. I think you must also understand that each regular judge has only 1 golden buzzer per year. They must decide in advance who they are going to buz, if not there would be a danger of all the buzzers being used in the first week. Remember the judges have seen the notes about the contestants before the show and may have seen their entry videos. The contestants do not of course know.

angelica is great but i think darci and mandy will give her some competition. darci is a 12 yr old ventriloquist who is amazing. the reason she didnt get a golden buzzer the first round is that i believe the 4 judges had already used their buzzers. so she had to wait for the 2nd round of auditions known as judges cuts to have another opportunity. each week a guest judge gets a golden buzzer to use. and by the way the young girl you were trying to think of i believe was bianca ryan. she won the 1st season of agt and was fantastic, enjoyed your reaction. you ought to view darci lynn agt if you havent seen it. watch the full audition so you can enjoy the judges comments..

The Guest Judges get one Golden Buzzer each which lets them send one act straight to the live shows with no deliberation, no debate, no discussion whatsoever at the end of the show. I believe season 11 was the first to do this, but don't hold it against me if I'm mistaken. And Jackie Evancho DIDN'T win season 5. You're probably mistaking her for Bianca Ryan (the first winner).
