Full octave vibrato scale change on a single lyric, at 10 years old, in perfect pitch, are you kidding me? Never heard anything like her in 5 decades of amazing artists I've loved and been wowed by. She truly does stand alone. A decade from now, attempts will be made to cover her originals, I think artists will give it dry runs, sans recording, and choose not to release their cover version though. I hope someone else comes along with her kind of talent and soul, but in my 58yrs here, she's a singular talent.

People don't have to LIKE what you like. Not liking what's "good" doesn't mean that the talent is not recognized. Maybe people don't like something else about the performance. Why worry about what others like or don't like?
What ten year old can sing like this!! She is out of this world amazing!! She has brought me back to loving music again!! Chills and awe every single time!!
None these days that have as nice a tone. She did sing this wonderfully, enunciated and no cackling! I guess when people, even old folks like me saying the best they have ever heard, it's insane. And, I guess another child prodigy, Mary Small slipped their mind. And, for me, my childhood friend was the best so far as kids go. Talk about tone, emotion, emphasis on words, range, and she was like 6 or 7, and so it continued, so I'm not naive to children being great. AJ would always sing this terrific, I might jump on that bandwagon, but she will have to improve A LOT, to be the best ever, when there were singers like Shirley Basssy and the best ever, Whitney Houston. IMHO.

Me too. It hurts to see all those dislikes on this ANGEL. How can somebody dislike something and someone as pure as Angelina Jordan. I just love her and those dislikes can just go and be alone with themselves.
She is still very young, she has all the time ahead of her to do great things. In my opinion she should work with producers and composers/lyricists of her voice level ie the best in the world in order to make some top notch albums that will make music history. At her age she has a better voice/performance than Aguilera, which I never expected to write. I think she is the greatest talent to ever come out, already on the level of Nina Simone, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Amy Winehouse. But the most important thing is for her not to feel pressure, not to make the mistakes they did so that she can first of all have a happy life as she wants. Making her professional and personal choices freely.

The point, of course, is to appreciate her for her voice and respect her as an artist and professional, wherever she is. She deserves only the musical top. It will get and stay there with hard work and right choices (talking about succes, in terms of talent and skills she's already there).
It is not just that the ending of this song blows you away..... it is because a ten-year old girl KNEW instinctively what the effect would be on everyone, when she worked out this arrangement. I have not known a talent like this before, at any age close to this.
What most impresses me is that, though she is aware, in that potentially stressful situation, that eye contact with the camera with a pleasant facial expression is important, she also knows enough to not stare continuously into the lense. She glances, as one would to an attractive stranger accompanied by a friend, then looks back to the audience to finish a sentence she'd started, then looks back to the camera with an entirely innocent "I'd like to get to know you better" expression, priceless. That level of professionalism before a video camera isn't just picked up from being filmed a lot growing up. Perhaps a lot of prompting from granny? Advanced acting classes at school? Just inate? It's a master class in video camera interaction, phenomenal in a 10 year old. Especially since we never "see" her "acting", on stage or in interviews, always presents as authentic. It must largely be just "who she is", which is entrancing to see.
And... I thought I was the only one that noticed that acknowledgment to the camera and the little smile = Awesome! Her finale of the song, the smile at the end and then the bow = precious!
In all honesty, the lyrics are cute ... But she really could be singing anything and I'd listen to it because her voice singing rhythm and blues is just good for my soul.❤❤❤

You deserve a STAR for watching so many of her videos and posting a new comment in a given day. Binge watching Angelina's videos is understandable but I think, but don't know for sure, that RU-vid picks up on binge watchers and might not count your views and comments as much as those who are not binge watching. Totally up to you, but I now watch 2 official AJ videos each day.

She is 10 years old but looks 11. (5 days after they posted this vide she celebrated her 11th birthday). Her voice, however is ageless. In fact, one can say it with confidence, her voice is immortal.

I was so impressed when I heard Carly Rose sing this same song in AGT a few years back, but Angelina took this song to another level with her control and timing of her runs, her power was not in how loud she could make it, but how engaging. There is power in a whisper that makes people lean in to hear, especially when the story told is absolutely captivating. It is not Angelina's age that makes this so incredible, it is her delivery that at any age would make her performance exceptional.

Yes, I've always remembered Carly Rose Sonenclair's rendition of this song and of "Rolling in the Deep," because they were so outstandingly performed by a 13 year old girl. But, like you said, Angelina has taken this to another level -- stratospheric!

Yes, this girl is a prodigy. She's a savant. I have watched many of her videos (most an embarrassing number of times) and although I'm not musically educated, I know that we're dealing with a girl that is doing what she was born to do! Every decision she makes is carefully thought out to bring maximum effect! (Climbing 5 octaves followed by that incredibly jazzy run, to end the song) She is mind bogglingly AMAZING!!! I sure hope I get to see her in concert.
If I see a dislike where Angelina is concerned it is because she doesn't perform gym aerobatics to cover the fact that she has no talent. This girl is unbelievable from the start. This girl invokes such emotion, she is just such a gift to humanity.

Most of the dislikes are related with her participation in AGT: Champions in January. At that time, Filipino fans of the other singer have invaded many of her videos to dislike them, even those where she was just a little kid. The dislikes suddenly tripled or more. Never understood the purpose.
