Angelina doing her thing with that incredible voice of hers. Rumor has it that since this was a cafe, the regulations required all patrons to wear shoes. Also, the performance wasn’t expected to be filmed and shared with the public so she didn’t make a point of taking off her shoes. Toby Gad gave clearance for the publisher of this video to release it.

Great reaction BG! Yeah, this was an informal setting, she was a guest performer, and the stage wasn't really conducive for it, so shoes on this time. A few days later she performed with Toby at The London Palladium (a more formal setting) and she was barefoot. 10/10!!!

I have heard that the local hygiene rules prevented Angelina from performing barefoot 🙂 This was THE stage where Adele was discovered back in the days, so fingers crossed that the same will happen for Angelina 😊 I guess this song, when it releases, may very well be the song that firmly places her on the world stage once and for all. Nice reaction! On a few rare occasions like this, Angelina had to wear shoes probably due to the venue's own rules/policies and possibly for safety concerns. Some people will say she had to because of either laws or hygiene. As someone whose family had been in the food service business, there are no state or federal laws governing this. None. The last time she had to wear shoes was when she was chosen to be a debutante and performer at Le Bal in Paris, France last year. Basically, if she can, she will. As for the song, it was a BANGER! Angelina just took it and sang the heck out of it. Like you, I too am very curious what the studio produced version will sound like, but knowing anything that has Angelina, it's going to sound great!

I really like this original song, Angelina's performance is fantastically raw and aggressive with her unique voice, raspy and deep, while she performs fantastic and beautiful tonal scales, which completely captivates you. With her I continue, even after many years of listening, to have goosebumps every time, in particular with every new wonderful vocal experiment that she creates. Angelina's musical eclecticism transcends the ordinary and she always manages to give a unique and passionate vision of her songs, whatever genre they are. She truly has a musical knowledge and analytical ability that is beyond my understanding. No one captures your soul and makes it vibrate like this gorgeous girl does! 💛🧡❤

It’s also the first time I’ve seen her with shoes during a performance. I have seen her with shoes during rehearsals, so the only thing I can say is that to her, this was a rehearsal for their show at the Palladium in the UK.

Not barefoot I’m guessing because this was not her concert and the performance isn’t an official performance..I’ll wager she will be when it’s released ..

This will be in her future full album hopefully. Or a Summer single, not entirely sure to be honest.

The instrumentation was just beautiful...love those strings. There are so many supers to this pre-release. A jazzy song and production that was meant for Angelina. Her voice, as usual, just amazing, finally letting 'er rip. Her belting here was otherworldly! Bodes well for the year, for her fans, for anyone who loves good music.

I think Angelina’s career will move into A-List Level once they start Promoting Her. I expect this May happen in September when her New Full Album will be released by Republic/Universal Music Group. Question is: Will they begin in earnest her Album and Angelina’s Promotion Nationwide? TV Talk Shows, etc.? If so, WHO? Toby Gad? Will the Album be all Original Music? Will it be only work between Toby and Angelina? Are other songwriters working on other original music with Angelina for this album? Will any one give us detail about he Album and any concerts?

Angelina was more than likely convinced to wear shoes due to the conditions of the stage they were performing on. Also, at this point, Angelina has her hair, feet, voice and hair insured. I'm sure there are contract stipulations on the type of surfaces she can perform on with bare feet.....probably has to be checked out and sanitary. Possibly she agreed to wear a brand name shoe on stage if the shoe brand donated money to children's charitable organizations.
