I have to paste in this statement I made about it in another post, because it sums up my thoughts and perspective on the matter... Anyone that thinks Angelina did not win this show is incorrect. As stated in previous posts the top 5 are all under the thumb of the Freemantle giant. Angelina managed to get in, get a golden buzzer, expose her talent to millions, and gain tons of new fans... - Her (independent) release of Bohemian is now at #58 on iTunes - Her 2 year old album is now the #1 Jazz album in the world - She has millions of new fans eagerly awaiting whatever drops next from her ...and she got all that without falling under the control of anyone. Angelina did more than win this show... *Angelina beat this show* ;)
Rusty Shackleford You forgot the most important thing Angelina got from her AGT experience, she got to see firsthand the inner workings of the business. My mother always said that bought wit is better than told. Her mother, and extended family could, and probably did, tell Angelina about this type of competition, but she was able to learn in a controlled environment exactly what the inner workings of the entertainment business is like. If I don’t miss my guess, her mother probably set conditions for her to be on the show, not just telling her no, and then forced her to be involved from the beginning with negotiations and then everything throughout the show, and I’m sure she had her eyes opened to these peoples motives and agendas. She could not have learned this better any other way, and she did it with the guidance and protection of her inner circle. She will never be able to be taken advantage of ever again.
@@darrelleldridge4914 I think Angelina has been seeing the inner workings of the business since she was 7. She has been in studios... she's made albums, she's laid down vocals for various promotions, done countless charity events, concerts, performed with high level musicians, sang in front a 40K audience. Angelina has been a pro musician for a long time. I'm not sure if she gained any knowledge of the business with this or not... although she probably got to see through some of the smoke and mirrors of what this show really is.
Rusty Shackleford That’s what I meant, these reality shows are different than what she perceived, now she knows the difference. Everyone can see that she is a gold mine, and everyone wants to feast off her talent, it doesn’t take a genius to recognize that she is well on her way of becoming the superstar she dreamed of being. I seriously doubt if she ever does anything remotely similar to a reality competition ever again. To learn that at 13 is worth the AGT experience.
No outrage here. The three songs she put out are proof enough of her talent. The exposure she received will help her to grow her brand and open up many more opportunities for her. There is no holding this angel back.

Hi, I have supported Angelina since she was 8yr old, she has a quality about her, tonnes, respect for her fans, world class performer, I admire her for giving her best out there, I was disappointed that she did not win but you know she is already a winner, she exposed her talent to the world so she will have a long time of being one of the best singers of all time! You are completely right. Angelina is way beyond AGT. She got exposure from it and that's all she needed from it. We know just how amazing she is and no two-bit contest can tell us otherwise :-D Can't wait to see where Angelina goes from here.
AGT really isn’t a talent show. It’s a popularity show. I realized that when they dissed another great talent, Courtney Hadwin, last year. Courtney is going to be coming on strong this year. Watch for her.
Angelina's team made a wise move in entering her in the Champions segment. Personally, I was unaware of her until seeing her perform on this AGT show. I became, like many others, an immediate fan. This is all Angelina could have wanted. The world- wide exposure was the prize. Let V-U enjoy their win because Angelina's career is already heading for the stratosphere.
