It is not just her unique voice it is her total being that moves me and others like no one else can. AJ has the rare talent to translate and manipulate a song so that it penetrates what we refer to as a soul. Whitney singing “I Have Nothing” never affected me like AJ version does.

And show them she did. I think that as an older person I was spoiled by the quality of music in the 60's, 70's and even the 80's. Belting was fine but not always needed and some of the greatest songs ever were simple powerful emotive ballads, like "American Pie" or tunes like "Big Yellow Taxi" to name a just a few. In the more recent years it appears to have become the only yardstick female singers are measured by. Bit sad really as they have lost so much in what they can hear. Lucky we have Angelina isn't it.

I've been following her for 4 years when I found her on AGT The Campions. Now I have to listen to it every day, it's part of my daily routine. For me she is like a healthy drug that my mind cries out for. She's 18 now and still getting better live, she's a superpower. There are over 200 cover songs by her that are mostly better than the original as well as 14 originals that she wrote and there are still over 100 songs written by her in the drawer waiting to be released so we still have a lot to look forward to . There is no singer I have ever experienced who could go into the stratosphere like Whitney in this song, and then sing 'How Great Thou Art' in the lowest register imaginable. Not even Elvis held the same low note for as long as Angelina when he sang the song.
