All the while she is singing this, i keep mentally substituting the 7 year old singing Gloomy Sunday at NGT. And it fits perfectly. What an example of poise and confidence. And it even goes beyond that when you also take in how absolutely comfortable she is. She is always singing FOR US. She was born to sing and, Sabina, I believe you will further understand that comment if you look at the video of her singing in bed at 1 1/2 yrs old! Oh, she was singing with a mic! The way she touches us is something that comes straight from her heart. It cannot be manufactured or taught. It's very real and that's why our "connection" to her is so vivid. Sabina, I have put myself in this video! In the very beginning there is a view of the audience and there is a small boy in a red cap watching Angelina and there is no mistaking, he fell in love with Angelina and will love her for the rest of his life. That little boy would be me.

Aww Sabina. Such a lovely reaction to this fabulous rendition in a most beautiful location. "Stunning" as you said. I'm so glad you reacted to the copy of this recording that is in Angelina official channel as per you link in the info meaning everyone can go give it a view there and increase the stats for AJ. This location is Halden less than 2 hours south of Oslo near the Norwegian / Swedish border, set in the ground of a fortress and the event is called "Allsang Pa Grensen" ( singalong on the border) And is recorded for national TV each year. I only know all this because I travelled from Italy specifically to see Angelina perform there. The event takes the shape of about 6 different artistes each performing 2 or 3 tracks throughout the evening and the crowd are all given a programme with all the words for each artiste's tracks they are going to perform in it and encouraged to singalong. 🧡 It was a marvellous experience and one I'll never forget to see Angelina live for the first time. She also sang her Bohemian Rhapsody about an hour or so earlier which was just beautiful ( of course ) though not so much a singalong song but of course you know all this as you have reacted to that very recording already 2 months ago. (I just saw !! ;-) - sorry) As SteveK said in an earlier comment she sang it twice back to back. ( with a few minutes in between Steve mentions ) - It was actually 67 seconds in between as I recorded it all. I thought the first version was brilliant but then I don't have the trained ear to hear anything wrong in any of Angie's performances but in my honest opinion ( from watching Angelina closely as she finished the first recital and reading her lips - I was only 12 metres away ) it was she who politely summonsed the TV director across to the stage with a cute little beckon from a gloved finger, and I strongly believe it was Angie who asked to repeat it as she was not 100% happy with something in the first recital. Once that chat took place, she looked up and had time to wave to me ( I was probably the only person stood up in the crowd at that point and she always returns a wave if she can ❤) and then Mum Sara and another lady quickly rearranged her dress and off she went for 2nd performance of this longish and demanding song. With just these 67 seconds in between. For me this is amazing, strength and dedication etc. Although I'm now not surprised as she sang between 15 and 18 songs straight off at the 3 concerts she then performed in July in Norway. The final think I want to mention ( whilst I am on a roll 😂) is Angie's hair. There has been a lot of discussion and chat that it affected her performance here and that it was a real bad hair stylist choice etc but I disagree for 2 reasons. 1. Angelina can sing without losing time, without losing words with the biggest utmost distractions I feel and she just takes it in her stride. She waves and interacts with the crowd without any problem whatsoever. 2. but secondly, you reacted to Bohemian Rhapsody which as I mentioned was an hour or so earlier and if you watch that again you will see the same hair and the same smoothly passing the mike from one had to the other ( she's actually always done that to be honest) and just moving her hair or flicking it aside with no look of concern at all. But if it was a problem then she had time to have it sorted and clipped / held back before getting changed and perform I have Nothing. So I think she was cool with it and it didn't detract at all. She is the only performer that I have to keep telling myself to breathe. She has performed in this venue since she was 7 years old, she pushes her hair back on every performance, it is just something she does.
Nice reaction. You committed that she had good microphone technique that's probably because she's had one in her hands since she was a year and a 1/2 old. Everything about Angelina is comforting to the soul (singing, artistry, humility) she is truly a remarkable human being. I discovered Angelina on RU-vid about a year and a 1/2 ago. That was about 6 months after my wife passed away. I don't think one day has passed where I haven't listened to several of her songs. She gives me a sense of peace. Take care and stay safe
I am sorry for your loss. I listen to Angelina too for that sense of peace and serenity in the midst of all the chaos and craziness going on in the world. Angelina is my refuge.
In the past few years I have lost several family members (lost a son, two brothers, two nieces and a nephew). Angelina has really helped me through those difficult times. For the last three years I have begun and ended almost every day by listening to Angelina. Her angelic voice has really woven itself into my daily routine and I am loving it. Sorry about your loss.

Angelina sings this song perfectly. At 16 she is already toe to toe with every one of the top singers alive today and better then the largest share of them as well. Yes she is stunning in that ice blue dress and wears it in the live black and white studio version but without the long gloves and with her hair down. This was an amazing performance. I was able her her perform this at her July 7 and 10 concerts. On the 10th it was her 18th and final song of the night, no intermission and She still performed it beautifully. Yes she gives her love to the audience with every song. She does not just sing wonderfully, she shares her soul which connects with ours - like the title of her book Between Two Hearts. It really does feel likes she sings to each of personality. The live performances were so amazing. Everyone there was blessed for being there. ❤
After 3 years away from Norway she was so happy to be back on Stage 😍 and you can hear how much she developed the last years. Her next 3 concerts in July were very successful and I was so happy to be at her final concert in Kurbadhagen 💕a lot of Angels did a long journey from the whole world to see her Life ❤️

At her last concert on July 10th 2022 in Norway, when Angelina told why she sings this song and dedicated it to her grandmother Mery Zamani (her grandma couldn't accompany Angelina on the trip to Norway and both were very sad), I understand this song completely differently whenever I hear the line "Don't you dare walk away from me". 💯 *AJ* 💯 👣

Great reaction - yes Angelina has grown so much since she was last in Norway! Here, rather than trying to emulate Whitney as she did at age 13, she has brought it to her comfort zone - that enabled her to sing live at an open air concert. At her final summer concert on 10th July she dedicated this song to her grandma, at that point I could understand where the emotion that she expresses came from...

Be aware that she performed this demanding song twice with only a matter of a few minutes between them, all the while it was threatening to rain. The organizers weren't sure that they captured the first version properly and asked her to repeat it, AND, this was only a few hours after flying in from LA. If you go to her official YT page you'll see that she now has copyright to this, her, version as well as several others. David Foster owns the song. She worked with him several years ago (that sounds strange when we're talking about a 16 year old) so maybe he assisted her in obtaining the copyright. The first take included the second vocal that is heard in the recently released studio version, but it did not align with when Angelina sang the phrase. She is seen in the spectator video calling someone over between takes. Appears she ordered the retake. The backing track phrase can be heard in this rendition but it is very subdued.

I "always" enjoy listening to Angelina sing, and I must compliment you on your reaction to this song. I enjoyed it immensely as I watched your expression change through out the video, and I loved that you took the time to post your thoughts on screen instead of pausing every 15 or 30 seconds to give your thoughts. Great performance, almost perfect and therefore "almost" because it's live and not in the studio ... I only have a fear that someone who is responsible for her career and her future (parents, manager, agents) will not push her forward too quickly and do nothing forcibly just to make her career ... where people "burned out inside" precisely because of excessive rush ... What you saw was Angelina's second performance. Few singers could have sung I Have Nothing so well back-to-back ---- Understandable why you reacted to the Norwegian TV 2 published video on RU-vid. Unfortunately TV 2 appears to have processed the broadcast master by, I believe, -24 LUFS (sometimes RU-vid will also process a video by -13 to -15 LUFS) and also looks to have downgraded the dynamic range a little. However, a UK sound engineer found a better video of this performance and has published it on RU-vid. So she hasn't done something YOU want in a while on a single band/singer, so you have a fit? I've watched a TON of Nightwish reactions, but I never subbed to any one channel because of them. I've found some great reactors and subbed after seeing them be diverse in their music, Sabina included I've unsubbed from channels for being too focuses on a band, including Nightwish. As much as I do love their music, I watch these for variety, not repetition.
