So true! While I love her phenomenal performances from this year (incredible!), there is special potency to her earlier masterpieces. This is in my top 5 of her earlier years!
Without a doubt, her vocals in this are like nothing she has ever done before or after, and let us remember she was 10 here. Had her mom allowed this masterpiece to be released, it would have been a chart topping record for sure. It has to be related to the breathy releases she learned from Billie Holiday but it is far more than that. It just has a mesmerizing effect on the listener. Hoping that one day it will be formally released, for it's that great a song.

An original, is any song which was not recorded by any artist before, it may be composed by the person singing it, or by someone else. Baby FuzZ and a three others wrote this song. Thus, he did the “Cover” that Angelina had already recorded in 2016, at 10, and published prior. Uploaded Nov. 11, 2018, Demo or not! Sorry, his offical video, published 12/9/18, (two years later) was met with very little fanfare. He has since, given her Copyright and his blessing to make a proper recording of the song. 🌺

You said out loud what most of us think, "let someone hurt this young lady and send me the address..." So many great covers by this young lady, and this is still my favorite. Ten years old! No words can possibly describe this young woman, yet, we still make fools of ourselves trying to do just that.
Vibe, It’s nearly incomprehensible to realize that this is Angelina at ten years old. I know of no other ten year old female vocalist that can do what Angelina did in this performance.

This is my favorite song of all, and she was ten when she did this. This is not a covert either. This was a demo she did at ten and the guy who wrote it put his version out a few years later. A month before he released his version someone (Who I think hated his guts) leaked this version and made his sound like...... well, I will let you decide, just look for the Baby Fuzz version of this song.

She was 10 on this video. Because of the subject matter of this song having to do with suicide, she will be ever sing this again, at her family's insistence. It was never the less a brilliant performance by AJ.
It has never been confirmed by Angelina, her family, the producers or the composer that there are any references to suicide in this song. That is an unsubstantiated rumor that has gone around since this was released as a fan video. All that is known is that Angelina and her family have said she will never sing it again, but they have not given a reason why.

That makes more sense than what I had heard, because if AJ's family felt that way, she wouldn't have recorded it in the first place. Thanks for the info. Write down to the details of vinyl record crackle at the end of the song. Which causes many to rightly deduce that there was some type of contractual issue issue involved. And regardless of what Brandon Lowrey says, It probably had to do with him not wanting her botting her version released. But that is just logical supposition, Not yet confirmed fact.
To me, there is a delineation between Angelina aged below 15 and her singing from 15 to now. To me, this song, Fly Me to the Moon, and Feelin' Good are her 3 best songs in the pre-15 years. And to hear her now - My Funny Valentine, Suspicious Minds, and I Have Nothing (all Grammy-worthy IMO), there is no telling how far this young lady will go.

Ray you do know that Angelina was 10 when she recorded this and wasn’t released until she was 12 . It was a demo given to her by Brandon Lowry aka Sterling Fox aka Baby FuzZ who is a well established song writer. Angelina actually released this before he did ( reason for the leaked).
Angelina never released this, somebody leaked the demo; it was taken down. But it was now out in YT land, so it kept on coming back. (Brandon loves it, btw.)
She is singing another writers feeling. She says she would drown herself for this love. Much older song for her life she is only 12. She just sang it because her voice is the best
Little background story. This song was leaked and the video is fanmade. She never sang this elsewhere but in this audio Baby Fuzz wrote this song and made a demo to sell it to someone else. The people he wrote it with also worked with Angelina. My theory is they took the demo to Angelina. Angelina gave it a spin and didn't like it enough and let it go. Baby Fuzz decided to release it himself and at about the same time this version was leaked. Angelina continued to work with those people and that lead to Shield. But yeah it is crazy good this one :-)
