Wikipedia: Unchained Melody is a song written by Alex North (music) and Hy Zaret (lyrics), and it was first released in 1955 as the soundtrack and theme song for the film Unchained, hence the name. The film is about an inmate in a prison who is in the dilemma of whether he should escape or serve out his sentence so that he can be reunited with his loved one. And…her grandma is an iranien woman!

Sir, the musicians ot this orchestra (KORK) know Angelina now for 7 years. They adore and love her, as most Norwegians do, including her friends in the royal family. She came to pay tribute to Narges Mohammadi and graced the people of Norway with a masterpiece of her craft. Please remember, the Norwegians declared her "the National Treasure of Norway" when she was 8 years old. Since it is the Norwegian Nobel Committee that is responsible for the Nobel Peace Prize and Angelina is part Iranian, it must have been an even greater honor for her to perform at the ceremony. I imagine that it was a very emotional experience for her and her family, especially her grandmother Mery.
