I hit post before I had a chance to finish my thoughts on this young lady. She sings Elvis’s songs in his key with her own arrangements. Listen to Love Me Tender, Unchained Melody, Can’t Help Falling in Love With You, Amazing Grace, Mary’s Boy Child, all sung as a child herself. Also please listen to MJ’s Billie Jean cover and be prepared to have your mind blown. After that try House of the Rising Sun and finish up with her latest video and vocal masterpiece My Funny Valentine. Listen to Frank Sinatra’s version which, up until this beauty was released, was considered the “gold standard “. Remember, she turned 16 on January 10th 2022. She is God’s gift to us, let us pray that she is blessed with a long and beautiful life: her uncle is her manager (her mom’s brother), so no Col Tom Parker to mess up her life. It looks like she’s in good hands and she has developed into quite a handsome young woman, I’d say beautiful but it doesn’t seem to do her justice. Anyway, I’m rambling. Let’s just say that she seems to be this Century’s Elvis Presley!

Angelina Jordan fears nothing when it comes to her choice of song...mainly because her intention with regards to music is pure. She's not here to showcase herself, she's here to give the music the respect it truly deserved. May it be a huge song or an unknown one or her own originals. She gives the song the spotlight rather than her own self. And that makes Angelina stands out among the rest. Her genuine love and passion for music are just unmatched.

I've heard Elvis's original movie soundtrack version many times since I was a kid in the 60's. I've heard many imitators try to sing it, but none could sing it better than Elvis .......... until, I have to shockingly admit to myself, Angelina Jordan (age 10?!!) outdid him!

Listen to the "silence" . Angelina's ability to perfectly measure the pauses in her delivery, together with the raw emotion she transmits to her listeners sets her way above all other singers. Thank you for another excellent reaction and for modifying you pauses to avoid copyright infractions. Is it possible to modify it further to have just the message, with no sound please?

I knew you would love this one, Emerson! She does it so soft and beautiful. I liked the pause style you used here too. It's better that you can watch the video uninterrupted. In a reaction video, most of the viewers have already seen it, so it shouldn't matter to them that there are breaks. If they support you and the artist they are following, they would rather see you get to enjoy it all the way through. Just curious... did that work to avoid the copyright claim?
Hi Rusty, I haven't being copyright on this one, the breaks with the shorts movies seems to work but I must to put some audio to get the RU-vid algorithm confused.

OMG! What a gorgeous performance - I had forgotten. Her subtle changes enhanced an already beautiful song. I think your new way of pausing is OK but I think it only needs to be about every 30 seconds and maybe just a tick-tock sound, not music, which sounds out of key.
