You have been missing one you will not believe is even possible. She did sing her first words at eighteen months of age. Introduced to Jazz by her Grandmother probably while still in the womb. At two and three she is scrolling through RU-vid looking for Jazz artists to listen to. She see’s a talent show on TV at three and tells her Mother she wants to sing for Simon Cowell. At five you see her leading interviewer through her home showing her toys and clothes speaking English. She picks up toy guitar and and states guitar not so good and starts singing Rolling In The Deep. She is enrolled in school and in after school program starts singing and music lessons. Starts piano, violin, and flute lessons. By now she is speaking Norwegian, Persian,and English. At five she tells her Mother she wants to sing at the Noble Peace Prize Concert. By six she is reading English. You see her in sound booth recording four songs. Rolling In The Deep,Hurt, Sky Fall and most notably Tom Jones rendition of “I Who Have Nothing “ (well worth listening to). You can see her progress exploding exponentially. At six she is the driving force behind her music. Mother is trying to slow her down but she isn’t having it. She wants more. She travels to the Middle East with her Mother and Grandmother where you get the story of why she does not ware shoes which she records in her diary. At this point she has stated she wants to be a superstar and sing for the world. At seven she asks her Mother to let her audition for for Norway’s Got Talent. At seven she steps on stage for her first public appearance and without nerves or fear auditions with Billie Holidays “Gloomy Sunday “. She reduces the judges and audience to puddles of emotions and tears. As her Mother watches from the wings crying she realizes she will loose her daughter to the world. My introduction to Angelina was on her first appearance at Norway's Got Talent and I didn't expect much from a 7-year-old. Just a cute little girl, all nervous, rushing the song in parts, hesitating and then stumbling over or forgetting her words and generally acting her age and doing her best to get through a childish song like "Twinkle, twinkle little star". What did I see? Well, it was a seven-year-old child, with wild hair and gaps in her mouth, where there once were baby teeth. And that was when the normal perception ended and things turned upside down. She confidently answered the questions put to her by a Judge. Declared she was going to sing a song by the legendary Billie Holiday. Gestured off-stage for the technician to start the music and then started singing. The body of the 7-year-old was still there but the voice wasn't. Or was it? I was surprised then and that surprise is still with me, some six years later. I have followed her career since I saw that first video on RU-vid and in the six years she has been singing publicly she has mastered many musical genres, including Blues, Country, Disco, Jazz, Pop, R&B and Soul, EDM and Rock and covered songs first performed by many famous singers, like Adele, Whitney Houston, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland, Lana del Ray, Avicii, Bill Withers, Gloria Gaynor, Andy Williams, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong and many others. What is more extraordinary is that she takes ownership of every song she sings while still paying respect to the original. You will notice that she never goes into unnecessary theatrics. Never sings those high or low notes unless they are absolutely necessary. Never projects herself in any performance which says "look how good I am". She just sings the song as she feels it is meant to be sung. And I'll add an even more extraordinary item for you to consider, to show how unique she is. She has the innate ability not only to sing a song as emotionally as the song deserves but to be able to communicate those same emotions to the listener. As I have noted above, I have been following her career a long time and have listened to every interview she has given and every documentary about her and every performance she has ever given. What stands out for me is how a very shy and humble girl in her normal life, can be transformed into the perfect vehicle for the song she has chosen to sing, once she starts to sing. Although the gift of singing and all her performances appear to be effortless, Angelina works very hard to ensure that the one she is going to record reflects what she sees as the correct way to meld both lyrics and melody. Hard to believe that you never heard of Angelina before. It’s too bad you didn’t read her introduction on her website about writing this for her grandfather who passed away a couple of years ago. Angelina competed in America's Got Talent the Champions at the end of 2019. I like your thoughts on the simbolizem of climbing the ladder. It has particular meaning for Angelina. When she was 6yo she was travelling in the Middle East and met a barefoot girl, about her age, trying to make money by weighing people with an old set of bathroom scales. Angelina talked to the girl for some time and noticed that her feet were scared and it was cold so Angelina gave her shoes to the girl. The girl said that she would always pray for Angelina. So ever since, whenever Angelina performs , she does so barefoot, to remember the girl and all the poor children in the world. Angelina wrote about this meeting in her diary and said "it was like I was climbing a ladder to heaven and there was a meeting of hearts". Angelina's grandmother Mery Zamani is an artist and it was she and Angelina who did the artwork for the lyric video.

I'm so happy that you finally discovered AJ. I recommended her a few times a few months ago. Her story is fantastic (I'll let the others fill you in) and is only surpassed by her vocal ability. This is a voice unlike any I've heard in my 40+ years of music appreciation. It transcends musical genres. While she currently only has 4 originals, many of her covers are different enough that they could be their own song. Take the journey, you won't regret it.

Super reaction. Angelina started NGT at age 7 and turned 8 late in the show when she won. Yes maybe you saw her on AGT Champions. Angelina and her Grandma did all the are work, with Angelina doing also all the writing by hand the words in the book. She is an extremely humble and beautiful in and out young lady. Not exaggerating, but I looked at almost all your videos from six months ago, and no artists has had more views per song on your channel than Angelina Jordan. To include Taylor Swift, Aurora, have not seen any Dimash so you may consider reacting to him, and other top names, the closest is BTS with an average of about 8.8 K views per song. Angelina 15K on this one 44K on Bohemian Rhapsody, 34K on her rendition of Goodbye Yellow Brick road, 15K on her recently released Official video of Million Miles, and almost 15k on her original Lyrics version of Million Miles which averages out to about 24.6K views per video. And if you look at many reactors who cover Angelina, the same holds true with them. However, Dimash probably has the highest views per reaction than any artists. So She is crazy good.
