"Million Miles" was the first song to make me weep. I had lost 5 loved ones in 3+ years, then I learned of Angelina and 8 months later this song was released. I truly believe "Million Miles" will always be one of Angelina's most popular songs. It is sad, yet provides hope. The melody is stunningly beautiful and sticky (it stays with you).
For me this is the most intense song written by Angelina. Dramatically beautiful and engaging. When our girl will soon be famous this song, in my opinion, will get the right recognition.
Hello again! Angelina was 14 years old here, performing her original which she wrote for her grandfather that had recently passed away. The recording took place in Republic Records' studio. Yes, most likely YT is lying to you. Us AJ fans are usually very invested in reaction videos and watch them at least AJ has sung the last note. I noticed the cut-off but I didn't comment about it because so many already had. Please understand that people had a good intention saying that. Main point is that they don't want you to miss out on her singing. Sure, we also think that listening to her full performance shows respect. But we do enjoy your enthusiasim towards her! I get what you're saying about playing the video to the end, but I think it's reasonable to ask that your music reaction be to the entire musical content, at least. If you want to stop after the last note has died away, I wouldn't have a problem with that. Great reaction!

Angelina has been writing songs since she was 10 years old - So far 12 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, Diamond, and Our Time. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age-appropriate at that time.
Great reaction guys. Several of the lines in the song are things that her grandfather actually said to her before he passed such as “I’ll be watching you from the moon. I’ll see everything you do”. I believe the opening line about being a child and walking the streets refers to when she was a little girl and her grandfather would take her with him to help the homeless on the streets. She said that when she was in the recording booth for her original version of the song, the tears were flowing.
I'm always emotionally involved in her music. She is so unique, so tender, so honest. She has many great covers and her original songs are just remarkable for their multi-genre sounds. Try listening to "You Say" then try not to have a little crying from heartfelt moments....
