Amauri Boss thanks for your reaction to another performance by the beautiful Barefoot Angel. For me this was the most beautiful and emotional song of the 2020, and it will remain my most favorable song of all times.

I don’t know what Republic Records is doing but this song should have already invaded every radio station in the world. Thank you Amauri for your fantastic reaction, I also can’t wait for you next Angelina reaction. Seems unfair to leave a comment which is shorter than a novel, since Angelina deserves and demands proper recognition for her talents. If I were a poet, then a shorter comment would be possible, but sadly I am not blessed with that talent. Simply said, Angelina has written a masterpiece which will provide comfort for countless millions from this day forward. In my opinion, Angelina delivers a song far better than any other and her voice makes me believe all the great vocalists from decades past got together in heaven to create the best voice I have ever heard. I can't forget Angelina's humility and humanity which inspires me to become a better, more caring person. She is in a league of her own.

Also .. not sure if you have done so but i really really recommend going back to Norways Got Talent .. her first song .. at 7 years old .. is GLOOMY SUNDAY .. it will knock you over .. 7 years old and doing a Billy Holiday song cause she BREATHES JAZZ! I had a customer come in a few days ago, and ZZ Top was playing in the background. His comment was, "You can't always listen to what you want at work" I said like Punk or Rap? He said no, like Angelina Jordan, because the tearing up part. He's a big guy on a Harley looking like ZZ Top! I doubt he would have said that before, because she changed him! I know first hand, so I said, "No words" with a fist bump, turned and on the way out, he said "There's a reason"

You know what’s coming when I start by saying: “I really love Adele....” But, I really do. Adele is terrific, both as a singer and songwriter. But when I compare Adele to Angelina, it’s like Angelina sings in 3D and Adele (and other singers) don’t have the multiple dimensions that we hear in Angelina’s voice. The runs, the riffs, the emotion, the sincerity, and the texture and power she can deliver in songs like this just grab you and don’t let go. And then she turns around with something in a completely different genre, and kills it. I’m glad you’re going to react to Someone Like You. I think it’s one of Angelina’s best. What makes her a great singer is the complete control she has of that amazing voice. What makes her an artist is her interpretation of the lyrics. In Someone Like You, Angelina makes us feel the hurt we have all experienced in relationships that have gone bad, but she delivers this with no edge or bitterness. It’s a part of life-sometimes happy, sometimes sad. Here, similarly, in Million Miles, the memories of her grandfather are active and uplifting. And again, we’re with her as she sings. Her connection with listeners is so immediate and powerful. That separates Angelina from anyone else I’ve ever heard.

The first time I heard this I envisioned Norah Jones teaching Amy Winehouse to sing an Adele song and there's a picture of Billie Holiday in the background. The fact that this is ALL Angelina, at age 14!?! Just blows the mind. Keep up the great reactions, you have an amazing journey ahead of you.

In the story about being barefoot, the young orphan girl had scarred feet and no shoes, and Angelina gave the girl her own shoes. She then vowed she would never again wear shoes while performing until all children of the world had shoes.

The voice and musicality are dope, but the lyrics are what vibrate in my memory.

Outstanding performance

Consider that Angelina was six years old when she met the girl on the street in Iran. She had a conversation for over 45 minutes while her Mother and Grandmother waited for her. She gave the girl her boots and when she got to where she was staying she recorded the event in her diary where she stated (paraphrasing) A doorway opened in my hart and there were stairs going up into a light. I climbed the stairs and it was amazing. To do something for another human. Hard to describe. Really. She then made a vow to never perform waring shoes in public. Consider at this point in time she had never performed on a public stage. How can you make a vow about something she had never done. Consider her Mother and Grandmother waiting for close to an hour. What family waits an hour for a six year old. There is something here unseen. A wonderment

Angelina was traveling with her parents in Asia when she was 6 years old and while walking she met another girl that was her age that was weighing people with a old bathroom scale for money to help feed her siblings Angelina asked about her parents and she said she didn't have any, she asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the homeless girl wanted to be a DR. And the girl asked what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina said she wanted to be a superstar,, the homeless girl said she would pray for her to be a super star singer, Angelina saw her feet were all scared up so she gave her the shoes off her feet and said she would never perform with shoes on until all kids in the world had shoes Angelina is now 16years old and still does not perform or record with shoes on because she is keeping her promise made to that little homeless girl

Hey Amauri - Welcome back again. Great to see you on the Angelina rollercoaster. The story of Angelina's barefoot performing I will just add a little to. (and Rusty or Albert will correct me if I get my own facts slightly wrong :-) ) - She was in the middle east travelling with family. She was 6 and came across this girl (maybe 7) on the streets with a pair of scales, weighing people to earn some money to survive. Angelina wanted to talk to her and aw she had no shoes. The little girl couldn't afford any so Angelina gave her her own ankle boots. The little girl said she would pray for Angelina every day for her to fullfill her dream of becoming a superstar singer. And Angelina vowed to never wear shoes in public when performing in public in respect to this girl and until all the children in the world could afford shoes. :-). But I can feel you are totally hooked Amauri now by the Angelina spell. I am sharing your reviews in one of Angelina's fan clubs in FB so keep them coming and your subscribers will soon hit that 1000 mark I am sure. Yes, do the Adele cover next. In fact there are 3 at least I think to go at. Brave words to say in comparison to Adele but you are not on your own in that respect. You can tell the difference between this and the original lyric video when she gets to the last crescendo. In the lyric video you can tell they overlaid the "belt" on the next phrase; here she simply ends the belt instantly and drops down to her soft voice. And, there is actually a slight mistake in this; you can hear hear sing "I can'ts make it stop". Adele, eh? Yep, she's everything you said. Her 2nd performance on AGT-C in the finals, was her cover of Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. I'm not a big fan of the original, but Angelina followed a version by Sara Bareilles & then she made it her own with her orchestral voice.
